Jadr

Learn Arabic by starting from the Quran. Most of the Quranic text is built on a few hundred words that come back again and again. Jadr teaches you that core: 300 words sorted by frequency, from the most common to the rarest. As you master them, the words you meet while reading stop being opaque. Made for absolute beginners Can't read the Arabic alphabet yet? That is the intended starting point. Every word is written in vocalized Arabic (with harakat), alongside its transliteration in Latin letters and its English translation. No grammar jargon, no prerequisites. What the app contains • 300 words in 6 tiers of 50, sorted by frequency in the Quran • Spaced-repetition flashcards: uncertain words come back soon, known words are spaced out • Multiple-choice quizzes in both directions: Arabic → English and English → Arabic • The audio pronunciation of every word, in literary Arabic • The triliteral root of every word, to see families of meaning • Browsing by theme (creation, faith, family, time, names of God…) and by part of speech (noun, verb, adjective, function word), to review by area of interest • Detailed progress tracking: words seen, in progress, mastered, to review • Experience points, a daily goal and a day streak to keep the rhythm • A daily reminder at the time you choose • Light or dark theme, adjustable session size and harakat display • Interface and translations in English, French and Indonesian Short sessions, every day A session takes a few minutes: a few new cards, the day's reviews, then a reinforcement quiz. Regularity is what builds vocabulary, not long study sessions. 100% offline, 100% free All the content is bundled in the app. No connection needed, no account to create, no data sent: your progress stays on your phone. No ads, no subscription, no in-app purchase — all 300 words are available from the moment you install. If the app is useful to you, an optional way to support it is offered in Settings. It is entirely voluntary and unlocks nothing: no tier, no feature, no extra content. The app is and will remain complete for everyone.
