Five houses in a row. Who keeps the zebra? ZEBRA takes Einstein's famous riddle and generates a fresh one every time โ always exactly one answer, always reachable by logic alone. Read a clue, rule something out, and watch the last house fall into place. Also known as the Zebra Puzzle or Einstein's Riddle, this is the logic grid puzzle with a twist: you're not just matching pairs, you're working out the order. Left, right, next to, at the end. โ Exactly one answer, never a guess Every puzzle is checked by the built-in logic engine before you see it: one unique solution, reachable by deduction alone. Puzzles that fail either test are never shown. โ Deduce the order, not just the pairs - The ivory house is immediately to the left of the green house - Milk is drunk in the middle house - The Norwegian lives next to the blue house Combine clues like these to pin down the row, one house at a time. โ Features - Four sizes: 3, 4, 5 and 6 houses. Five is the size of the original riddle - The original Einstein zebra puzzle, included - A visual row of houses that fills in as you solve โ roofs take their colour once you know it - A question for every puzzle, and houses that light up when you finish - Tap a clue to highlight the houses and cells it refers to; fully used clues dim automatically - Logic hints: the next square you can deduce, and the clue numbers that prove it - Daily Challenge: one shared puzzle for everyone, every day - Weekly Challenge: a new six-house puzzle every Monday - Past dailies: play any day you missed from the calendar - Ranks from Novice to Master Detective, plus nine badges - Auto-X, notes, undo, and continue where you left off - Themes: Classic, Forest, Street, Station, Harbor - Adjustable clue text size and dark mode - English and Japanese โ Perfect for - Anyone who has solved Einstein's riddle on paper and wants more - Players who want a different puzzle every time, not one classic recycled - Fans of logic grid puzzles, sudoku and brain teasers looking for something deeper - Players who'd rather learn how to think through a puzzle than be told the answer - A quiet, offline brain game for commutes and flights โ Peace of mind - Free to start. No subscription โ the only purchase is a single one-time unlock - No third-party ads - Your records stay on your device. No account, no sign-in - Puzzles are generated on your device, so you can play offline. To introduce the developer's other apps, ZEBRA may load public App Store information (no personal data is sent)
Alone With

Every case gives you the floor plan of a place and the suspects' statements. Each statement only says where someone stood: "She was next to the fireplace." "She was south of Editha." "He was petting a dog." You place every suspect on a square. Nobody shares a row or column with anyone else, nobody stands on an occupied square, and the rest follows from the statements. In the end exactly one arrangement remains, and one suspect stands alone with the victim in a room. That is the culprit. Every case has exactly one solution, and you can reach it without guessing. For every step there is a card you can point at. If you are stuck, you are missing a deduction, not luck. The Castle file is completely free, all 80 cases of it. After that come the Wild West, the Pirate Ship and the Flower Village, each world with its own 80 cases as a single purchase, Season 1 also as a bundle. Eight bonus cases can be played beforehand. The boards grow from six by six squares with five suspects to ten by ten with nine. While solving, you get a pencil for notes, crosses that fill in as you place people, a ghost mode for uncertain candidates, and hints. The app shows ads: a banner below the board and optional videos for hints and helpers. Any purchase removes the banner. There is no subscription and no energy mechanic. The app needs no account and no internet connection, purchased content also lives on the device. Languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese.
