E6B Flight Computer Calc vs E6B Flight & Wind Calculator

E6B Flight Computer Calc is a digital E6B for pilots. Every calculation is free, works offline and has a keypad built for the cockpit. FREE • True airspeed, density altitude (with an optional dew point) and true altitude • Wind triangle, find the wind from heading and track, and runway crosswind • Time, speed, distance, fuel, PNR and equal time point • Climb and descent, with the descent rate needed to reach a fix; turn and glide • Weight and balance with load sheet, CG, %MAC and envelope (one aircraft saved free) • Great circle, magnetic and compass, holding entry, cloud base • Conversions, Zulu and local clocks, sun and twilight, flight timer with Live Activity, countdown • Your units: hPa or inHg, kt, km/h or mph, nm or km, °C or °F, litres or gallons • Apple Watch app PRO (optional) • Unlimited METAR and TAF decoding (paste the report) • Unlimited analog E6B wheel and exam mode • Unlimited aircraft profiles and full history • Crosswind and density altitude widgets Weekly, monthly, yearly or pay-once plans. GOOD TO KNOW A planning aid, not for navigation: use the POH/AFM and approved sources. Weather reports are pasted, the app does not download them. Density altitude without a dew point assumes dry air. Terms of Use: https://ghapps1.wordpress.com/terms-condition/ Privacy Policy: https://ghapps1.wordpress.com/privacy-policy/

Crabwise is an E6B flight computer for iPhone, built for student pilots, private pilots and CFIs who want the answer and the working behind it. WIND TRIANGLE (FREE) • Find heading: enter TAS, true course and the wind to get wind correction angle, true heading and ground speed • Find wind: enter heading, TAS, track made good and ground speed to back out the wind you actually flew in • A live vector diagram shows the air, wind and ground legs of the triangle UNIT CONVERSION (FREE) Nautical miles, statute miles and kilometers; knots, mph and km/h; pounds and kilograms; US gallons and liters; °C and °F; inHg and hPa; feet and meters. Fuel weight for avgas (6.0 lb/US gal) and Jet-A (6.7 lb/US gal). CROSSWIND BEFORE YOU LAND Enter the runway number and the tower or ATIS wind. Crabwise shows the crosswind from the left or right, the headwind or tailwind, and the components in gusts. ALTITUDE AND AIRSPEED Pressure altitude from field elevation and altimeter setting, the way the FAA knowledge test expects it. Density altitude from the full ISA density ratio, not the 120 ft per degree rule of thumb. True airspeed from calibrated airspeed with compressible flow, and Mach number. TIME, SPEED, DISTANCE AND FUEL Solve for whichever one is missing. Fuel burn, fuel flow, endurance, and total required fuel with taxi, run-up and reserve. Use gallons, liters or pounds. WEIGHT AND BALANCE Add stations with weight and arm, get moments, total weight and center of gravity. Enter the corner points of the CG envelope from your POH and see at once whether you are inside it. SEE EVERY STEP Each result can open into the formula and the numbers substituted into it, the way you would work it on a paper E6B. Useful for the written exam, the oral and the checkride. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE Every calculation runs on your iPhone. No account, no ads, no tracking, and no signal needed. Light and dark themes. FREE AND PRO Free: wind triangle (find heading and find wind) and unit conversion. Pro: crosswind, time-speed-distance, fuel, altitude and airspeed, weight and balance, and step-by-step solutions for every calculator. Crabwise Pro is available weekly, monthly or yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Eligible users can start the yearly plan with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and does not renew. Not for navigation. Crabwise is for training and reference only. Always cross-check with your POH, approved charts and official sources. Crabwise is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FAA.
