About

The Family Clock

Features

Your family’s latest status, with clear choices for your places. Family Clock shows the latest confirmed status and update time for up to six family members on a crafted brass dial. See who is at home, at work or school, on the move, or out of town. An offline member’s last confirmation time remains visible. Private residence, work, and school places stay on your devices. On iPhone and iPad, you can choose to sync their rules through your own private iCloud database. Apple location, geocoding, and Maps services help resolve places and cities. Daily status does NOT upload precise private-place coordinates to the family service or create a location trail. The shared family Home address and latest status visible to members are encrypted and synced by a separate family service. Each member chooses whether to share daily status and can pause updates. • A crafted family dial: Portraits, clock hands, and member cards bring everyone together. • Optional automatic status: Add familiar places and grant location permission to let your device assess status. • Close at hand: iPhone Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, plus an Apple Watch app. • Ask family for help: Start and confirm a help request yourself. You can separately choose to share your latest location during the request. Updates and help alerts depend on permissions, connectivity, and system scheduling. The app does not contact emergency services. Creating or joining a family is free. Daily status sharing requires an active monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription; one subscription covers up to six family members.
