Learn to crochet, one round at a time. HookWise is a crochet companion built for beginners — patterns broken into clear rounds, a scanner that identifies stitches and yarn from a photo, and an AI chat coach for whenever you get stuck. No forums to dig through, no fifteen-tab pattern hunt — just the next round, one tap away. WHAT YOU GET Guided Pattern Library Follow patterns one round at a time with a progress bar that remembers exactly where you left off. Favorite the ones you love and pick up any project right where you paused it. 94 Patterns and Growing From amigurumi and granny squares to scarves, hats, and blankets — including public-domain patterns from vintage pattern booklets alongside original designs, plus curated links to modern free patterns from independent designers. Snap a photo and HookWise identifies the stitch, estimates the yarn weight, and suggests a hook size — then points you to the closest matching pattern in the library. Ask HookWise Stuck on a gauge swatch, a stitch count that doesn't add up, or rows that keep getting wider? Chat with the built-in assistant about your specific project, any time. Sewing Pattern Translator

All your instructions in one place. And in your language. This app is a library for instructions as PDFs. Built for sewing, knitting and crochet, but it takes any instruction: the assembly guide for the shelf, the recipe, the user manual. You create folders, give every instruction an image and find it again on every one of your devices. If one is in a language you do not read, the app translates it. With the right craft terms and without distorting the pattern sheet. YOUR LIBRARY • Folders, nested as deep as you like. By craft, by person, by project. • Every instruction gets a preview image: from the camera, from your photos or a page from the PDF. Folders get an image too. • Four traits such as women, child, sweater or knitting. Filter by them with one tap. • Notes on every instruction: yarn, size, what you changed. Search by name and notes. • Cards with large images or a compact list, as you prefer. • PDFs come from Files, Mail, iCloud or from a finished translation. THE SAME ON ALL YOUR DEVICES The library lives in your iCloud, under your Apple ID, not on someone else's server. What you file on the iPad sits in the same place on the iPhone. New device, sign in with your Apple ID, and the library is there. TRANSLATE WITHOUT DISTORTING THE SHEET Ordinary PDF translators rebuild the page and redraw it in the process. In sewing that is fatal: a pattern sheet scaled by two percent no longer fits. This app works differently: • No AI redraws your artwork. Pattern pieces, alignment marks, knitting charts and crochet charts come from the original untouched. • The translated text sits where the old text sat, in the same box. • Page size and scale stay. You print and tape the sheet exactly as before. THE RIGHT CRAFT TERMS A plain translator turns the German rechts into right. In a knitting pattern it means knit. It turns Maschenprobe into stitch sample instead of gauge. This app translates with a craft dictionary for sewing, knitting and crochet. You get the terms and abbreviations your patterns actually use. Centimetres become inches, in size charts as well. For crochet you choose between US and UK terms. HOW TO TRANSLATE 1. Pick your PDF from the library, from Files, Mail or iCloud. 2. Pick the language you want to read. The app detects the source language itself. 3. Start the translation. It runs on the server, so you can close the app. 4. File the finished instruction in your library with one tap. 17 LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Italian, Croatian, Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Czech, Finnish, Hungarian, Turkish. You translate between all of them and switch the app itself too. YOUR DOCUMENTS STAY YOURS Your library lives in your iCloud, not with us. A server does the translating; the source file and the result are deleted there after delivery. Patterns are protected by copyright, translated ones as well. That is why there is no way to publish one. WHAT IT CANNOT DO • Keep the original typeface. The translated text is set in its own, easy to read font. Measurements and layout stay. • Translate instructions over 50 MB or over 40 pages. TRY IT Five translations are free. Take the pattern that is annoying you right now, print the sheet and measure it. No trial that quietly turns into a subscription, and no charge without your consent. TERMS OF USE Apple's standard licence agreement applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
