Tomb Architect

You are the architect. You are also the intruder. Tomb Architect gives you a plot of desert and lets you carve whatever you like into it โ corridors, halls, stairwells, tunnels, a sarcophagus, a treasury, a room that appears on no drawing. Then it does the thing no building game does: it puts you inside your own plan and asks whether you can get back out. If your tomb is easy, that is your fault. The rating says so. WHAT YOU DO โข Break ground on a gridless desert plot โ rooms go anywhere, and the plan links them with ancient architectural lines on its own โข Raise ten kinds of chamber, from a plain corridor to an eye chamber, each rising out of the sand as you place it โข Arm six mechanical traps: a falling capstone, a pressure floor that starts a chain, a rotating chamber, a sand shaft, a hidden blade, a door carved to lead nowhere โข Assemble the machinery yourself in the Mechanism Engineer โ lever, gear, chain, counterweight, gate โ and watch it run inside a cutaway of the wall โข Set four kinds of riddle and play every one of them: steer a sunbeam through mirrors, chain hieroglyphs in the order the wall demands, throw a shadow onto a carving, route water through ancient sluices โข Enter the tomb. The camera drops through the sand and you walk the plan by hand, torch first โข Survive Escape mode, where the tomb wakes on a clock: systems open, routes shift, doors drop, and the dunes start coming in โข Listen for the hollow rooms โ some chambers are only found by sound, light, or shadow โข Watch the Time Shift turn your work from new to ancient to ruin to almost entirely buried โข Take a verdict on seven axes โ Complexity, Exploration, Puzzle Quality, Trap Design, Navigation, Secrets, Difficulty โ and a rating from one to five scarabs โข Replay your own descent as a glowing route line and see exactly where you gave yourself away โข Recover relics into an underground museum you walk through, where every object turns, zooms, and comes apart in your hands โข Take a new commission every day, carved on a stone tablet: twelve chambers only, three false paths, a route that turns on a light riddle HOW IT FEELS No tab bar, no lists, no flat menus. The main screen is one enormous tomb floating over the desert that you turn with your finger, and its parts are the way in. Screens do not appear โ the interface crumbles into sand, a stone wall collapses in front of you, hieroglyphs light and join into a portal, a shadow crosses and leaves you somewhere else, or the camera simply dives underground with the sand rushing past. EVERYTHING IS YOURS AND LOCAL Every plan, relic, rating and setting is stored on your device. No account, no sign-in, no servers, no ads, no analytics, no AI. Play it on a plane. Sigils are earned by delving. Nothing costs real money, and every chamber, trap and riddle in the game is reachable by playing it. Explosive Tension
Read full descriptionHide full description
You operate a foundry built inside a volcano. Three pipes feed three gases into one chamber, and the order board wants them in an exact ratio. Turn the valve wheels with your thumb, watch the blend settle, and hold it steady while the pressure climbs. HOW A SHIFT RUNS The board posts a blend: 50% sulfur, 30% steam, 20% ash. You swipe each valve wheel left to close it or right to open it. The chamber mixes whatever arrives and bleeds off what it can. When all three readings sit inside tolerance, four rivets start lighting up. Hold the blend for four seconds, all four light, and the order clears. The next one comes in tighter. THREE GASES, THREE TEMPERAMENTS Sulfur is heavy and slow. Open its valve and the reading takes ten seconds to catch up, then it sits where you put it. Steam answers in a heartbeat and drains just as fast. Good for a last-second correction, useless for anything you want to keep. Ash builds up on its own in ragged bursts and barely leaves the chamber. Overshoot it and you will be fighting that number for the rest of the shift. Because they behave differently, matching a ratio is balancing, not arithmetic. PRESSURE PAYS Every open valve pushes the needle toward the red arc. Above 60% the chamber pays 1.5x for a filled order. Above 75% it pays double. Let the needle reach the redline and the chamber breaches, and the shift ends there. The purge valve dumps pressure fast, but it blows the light gas out first and leaves your blend skewed. WHEN THE PLANT BREAKS Valves seize. Couplings spring leaks. Sensors go dark and hide a line's reading behind two question marks. A repair board comes down on chains over your console, and the shift keeps running the whole time you are working on it. Flip the tripped breaker, hold the blown fuse until it seats, crank the leaking coupling three turns. Later shifts add spindles that creep open by themselves, and those you fix at the console by closing the wheel to zero and holding it there. Time spent on the board is time nobody is watching the mix. That is the trade. WHAT YOU GET Three shift lengths to start from, from steady to meltdown. An endless run of orders, each with a narrower tolerance than the last. One score to beat, kept between sessions. No timers between runs. Portrait, one thumb, any session length you have.
