Getting ready for your naturalization interview is a big moment, and it is normal to feel nervous, especially when the questions come in a language you are still learning. This app was built for that moment. Study a few minutes a day, in your own language, until the English answers feel natural to say out loud. WHICH TEST WILL YOU TAKE: 2008 OR 2025? USCIS changed the civics test on October 20, 2025. The version you are given is decided by the date you filed Form N-400, not by the date of your interview. This is the detail applicants get wrong most often, so check your filing date first. • Filed before October 20, 2025: the 2008 test. A bank of 100 questions. The officer asks 10 and you need 6 correct. • Filed on or after October 20, 2025: the 2025 test. A bank of 128 questions. The officer asks up to 20, you need 12 correct, and 9 wrong answers ends it. The officer stops as soon as either number is reached, so the test often ends early. The app covers both versions, asks which one you need during setup, and lets you switch later. AGE 65 AND 20 YEARS OF RESIDENCE If you are 65 or older and have been a lawful permanent resident for 20 years or more, you may qualify for special consideration: a marked set of 20 questions, 10 asked, 6 correct. The app has a mode for it. ENGLISH ON TOP, YOUR LANGUAGE UNDERNEATH The interview is conducted in English, so the official English question and answer are always the primary text: the exact wording you will face. Underneath, in your own language, you get a translation of the question, a translation of the answer, and a short note that gives it context. Translated questions cover a growing part of the bank and more are added over time. As your English improves, turn translations off and test yourself. The interface is fully available in 14 languages. PRACTICE OUT LOUD The civics test is oral: the officer speaks the question and you answer out loud. Every card can read the question and answer aloud in English, with a speaker button on each card and an option to speak them automatically. WAYS TO STUDY • Flashcards: see the question, say your answer out loud, reveal it, and mark whether you knew it • Study by category: American Government, American History, Symbols and Holidays for 2025, or Integrated Civics for 2008 • Mock test that follows the real format and the real stopping rule, then lists exactly which questions you missed • A deck that collects the questions you keep getting wrong • Favorites for questions you want to come back to • A full, searchable list of every question ANSWERS THAT CHANGE, KEPT CURRENT Answers about officeholders, the President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, Chief Justice and the President's party, refresh over the internet so they stay correct between app updates. Four answers depend on where you live: your two U.S. senators, your representative, your governor and your state capital. All 50 states are covered, along with Washington, D.C. and the five inhabited territories, including the fact that D.C. and territory residents have no U.S. senators. YOUR PROGRESS Every question is tracked as not started, learning or learned, and learned takes several correct answers in a row. Set a daily goal, build a streak, collect 12 badges, and review your statistics: accuracy, days studied, mock test history and weakest categories. A simple readiness percentage draws on your recent mock tests and how much of the bank you have covered. STUDY ANYWHERE Everything works offline: every question ships inside the app. There is no account, no sign-up and no login. Your progress stays on your device and is not uploaded. The app goes online only to refresh the officeholder answers. DISCLAIMER This is an independent study tool.
