Verdict
been and Flit for Weed both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Flit for Weed's written reviews are positive against 59% of been's. been's advantage is ratings volume (9.5K vs 13) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. been sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flit for Weed sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for been against 4.7 for Flit for Weed. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: been has 9.5K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of been's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flit for Weed's.
been ships an update every 10 days, Flit for Weed every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
