Bring underwater color back to life. Blue and green casts, missing reds, strobe-lit specks across the frame—DiveTone is a photo and video color-grading tool for divers and underwater photographers. Instead of placing one filter over the entire image, it adjusts each region based on underwater light, water color and subject position, bringing back your subject's color and dimension while preserving the depth and atmosphere of the water. 【Start in one tap, then fine-tune】 ・Vivid, Natural and Classic one-tap looks; DiveTone picks a starting look automatically when you add photos ・Adjust temperature, tint, saturation, exposure, dehaze, contrast and detail on photos ・Grade background water independently without recoloring the entire sea for the subject ・Drag the split line to compare before and after, and pinch to check fine detail ・Save custom looks and quickly apply them to the next photo 【Reduce backscatter, bubbles and noise】 ・Automatically reduces backscatter—the white specks created when strobes light up suspended particles ・Automatically detects and removes bubbles from the image ・Noise reduction adapts to the actual noise level of each photo ・Adjust the strength of both and balance a clean image against fine detail your way 【Treat subjects and backgrounds separately】 DiveTone recognizes key objects on-device and lets you see and edit the actual area. ・Up to three subjects, each with its own exposure, temperature, tint, saturation, contrast and detail ・Add or erase areas with a brush, using Assisted Outline to follow edges ・Create an adjustable black background from the subject mask to make fish and divers stand out 【Video: segment grading and HDR export】 ・Use different settings for changing depths, lighting or scenes within one video ・Export the complete video, merge segments or export segments separately ・HEVC output preserves source resolution, frame rate and audio ・Export HLG HDR videos in HDR to keep higher brightness and dynamic range (on supported devices) ・Capture a frame at a precise time and continue editing it as a photo 【Organize an entire dive trip】 ・Photos and videos together in one project library ・Group by location, date or format, and sort by capture date, date added, location or last edited ・View GPS-tagged dive media on a map ・Batch-export multiple photos, each keeping its own grade, crop and black background ・Review photo information and adjust capture time and location 【Export and share】 ・Save photos as JPEG, HEIF, TIFF or PNG to Photos, share them or save them to Files ・Create custom text or image watermarks, with a separate one for black-background photos ・Keep all capture information, or remove GPS or all metadata 【Keep originals safe and your work private】 ・Color grading, subject recognition and mask processing run on your iPhone or iPad ・Media downloaded to the device can be edited offline—on the boat or at remote dive sites ・Apple Photos integration does not create another copy of the original in the DiveTone project library ・Non-destructive workflow; deleting a DiveTone project does not delete the original media from Photos ・When a RAW pair is available, DiveTone reads the original RAW first 【Try every editing tool for free】 ・The free version includes all editing and preview features with no official DiveTone watermark. ・Export 15 distinct photos and 2 distinct videos per day; repeat exports of the same project on the same day do not count again. ・Upgrade to DiveTone Pro to remove the daily limit. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. ・Ideal for scuba diving, freediving, snorkeling, underwater photography, and organizing underwater photos and videos directly on iPhone or iPad while traveling.

Underwater video comes back blue, and a dive comes back as forty minutes nobody is going to watch. Surface Interval does both jobs by itself: it puts the red back, and it cuts the dive down to one reel worth watching — on the phone, with nothing uploaded anywhere. HOW IT WORKS Add the videos from a dive, from Photos or from a card reader through Files. They land in a folder for that day, which you can rename to the site you dived. Open the folder and tap "Make a reel of this folder", or pick a few videos and make a reel of just those. The app does the rest. It measures each video and puts back the color the water took — shallow, mid, deep or night, read from the footage itself rather than from a preset you have to guess at. It finds the moments worth keeping, trims them, leaves them in the order they were shot, dissolves between them and lays a track underneath. You get two choices: how long, from 5 seconds to 3 minutes, and whether it is made in 4K for YouTube. Then save it to Photos. WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT IT The correction is measured, not guessed. Footage a camera already corrected is recognized and left alone, so it is never corrected twice. Videos still in iCloud are streamed, not downloaded. A 4K original never has to come down to your phone before it can be used. Vertical and horizontal footage are kept in separate folders, so a reel never mixes the two. A reel interrupted by a phone call or a hot phone carries on from the shot it had reached, instead of starting again. There is no account and no sign-in, and the app makes no network call of its own; a purchase goes through Apple. Your footage is read where it already sits and is never copied anywhere. WORKS WITH DJI Osmo Action, GoPro, Insta360, iPhone — anything that writes an ordinary video file. Reels are saved to Photos at 1080p, or in 4K for YouTube. MUSIC Eight tracks are built in, and 45 more come from Apple on a tap in Settings, on iOS 26.4 and later. One is picked to suit each reel. They come from Pixabay under its Content License: nothing to credit, nothing to pay, and only ever mixed under your own footage. FREE, TWO REELS A DAY Two reels a day are free, each with a small watermark in the corner. Week, Year or Lifetime lifts the limit and lets you turn the watermark off. Week and Year renew automatically until you cancel. Terms of Use: https://ligrimp-lang.github.io/surfaceinterval-site/terms.html Surface interval: the time between dives.
