Fractal Studio is the intelligent companion for Fractal Audio players. Whether you own an Axe-Fx III, FM9, or FM3, it brings AI-powered tone building, instant MIDI control, and a full amp reference into one app. TONE BUILDER Describe any guitar sound in plain English — "Edge's clean delay from Where The Streets Have No Name," "heavy Deftones wall of sound," or "warm single-coil jazz clean" — and the AI builds you a complete preset. Amp model, cabinet, drive pedals, modulation, reverb, and global EQ are all dialed in and ready to replicate on your device. MIDI REMOTE Fire any of your Fractal device's 512 presets from your phone. The four-bank grid covers the full 1–512 preset range and sends a Program Change instantly over USB or Bluetooth MIDI. Slot labels show exact preset numbers so you always know what's active. AMP & EFFECTS REFERENCE A searchable guide to every amp model, effect type, and signal block in the Fractal platform, organised by category and automatically updated from the Fractal Audio wiki when the app loads. ARTIST PRESETS Browse the complete Gift of Tone and Artist Preset Series catalog — Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Alex Lifeson, Synyster Gates, Guthrie Govan, Animals As Leaders, and dozens more. Filter by series and search by name to find tones from your favourite players. FIRMWARE HISTORY A full release-by-release changelog from firmware 1.00 to the latest release, with new amp additions, effect blocks, and milestone badges for Cygnus, Cygnus X-2, DynaCab, and Cygnus X-3. Alerts you when a newer version is detected on the wiki. PRESET LIBRARY Every AI-generated tone is saved with full detail — amp model, knob values, effects chain, cabinet, global EQ, and notes. Search, star favourites, reorder presets, and send any saved tone to your Fractal device via MIDI. Compatible with Axe-Fx III, FM9, and FM3. USB MIDI supported on Axe-Fx III and FM9; FM3 requires a physical MIDI interface. A free Google AI Studio API key unlocks unlimited tone generation — a small number of free requests are included.

The demo is the whole app running against a simulated unit. Nothing is cut short and nothing expires. You need no hardware and no computer to look around. WHAT IT DOES - Switch any of your presets, by name, in slot order or from a setlist - Scenes, with the names your unit already uses - Turn blocks on and off, and pick channels A to D - Open a block and change its real parameters on real knobs - Tuner, with the note and how far off you are - Tap tempo, with the tempo on the button - Setlists and starred presets, kept with your account across devices - Colors that match your unit's own screen, so you find things by looking HOW IT WORKS A phone cannot reach a Fractal unit on its own - So a free companion app runs on your Mac, Windows PC or Linux box, holds the USB cable, and your phone talks to that.
