OwlCaller
Read full descriptionHide full description
An unknown number rings. OwlCaller tells you who it is before you decide whether to pick up. WHO IS CALLING Type any number and get the name behind it. Names come from the community: the people who saved that number under a name, and the OwlCaller users who own it. Every answer says where it came from and how confident it is, so you can judge it yourself instead of trusting a label. Ten lookups a day, free. Numbers already in your own contacts never count against that, so checking a name you half remember costs you nothing. CALLER ID DURING THE CALL Switch on caller identification and OwlCaller hands the numbers it knows to iOS. Names then appear on the incoming call screen itself, and numbers the community has flagged can be silenced before they ever ring. REPORT THE NUISANCES Flag a number as telemarketing, scam, fraud, a robocall, a survey, a debt collector or a general nuisance. Reports are pooled, so a number that wastes your afternoon gets a warning attached for everybody else. A PHONEBOOK WORTH KEEPING The cleaner reads your contacts and shows what is wrong with them: - numbers saved with no name attached, which tell you nothing when they ring - contacts with no number at all - numbers that cannot be dialled - the same number saved under several different contacts You decide what to fix. Nothing is deleted without you asking for it. IN YOUR LANGUAGE English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. The app follows your phone's language, or you can pick one yourself.
