GlowVox

Your iPhone becomes a handheld LED sign β and a megaphone. GlowVox scrolls giant glowing text across the screen and, when you want it to, shouts that text out loud on a loop. Night market, concert crowd, airport arrivals, a proposal after dark: hold it up and people see you from the other end of the street. WHAT IT DOES β’ Full LED engine. Three marquee lanes, glitch, typewriter, strobe, neon glow, gradient shimmer and mic-reactive beats β with a built-in photosensitivity guard on the fast flashing. β’ Say it out loud. Text-to-speech loops your wording with sweet, deep or cartoon voice effects, or loops your own recording, with up to +6 dB of outdoor gain for a Bluetooth speaker. β’ Background music that knows its place. Loop a track behind the sign; the instant your shout-out starts the music ducks out of the way, then fades back when you stop. β’ Photo to LED dot matrix. Bright pixels become lamps, dark ones stay black β pets, logos and idol photos all light up. β’ Lock Screen pickup sign. A Live Activity keeps it on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, so the screen stays cheap on battery and you still never miss them. β’ Ready-made templates across six scenes: market stalls, fan chants, proposals, parties, airport pickups and everyday utility signs like queue numbers and parking. β’ Live variables. Put {time} or {date} in the text and it keeps itself current. β’ Fan-color glowstick. One tap turns the whole screen into your idol's color, pulsing in rhythm, with the name on top in high contrast. β’ Fill-in templates. Change the name or price and go; no rewriting the whole sign. β’ Landscape, upside-down and mirror modes, adjustable font, size, speed and blinking, and a searchable color library. β’ Hold-up lock. Freeze rotation and gestures while you hold the phone overhead, so nothing flips or pauses by accident. β’ Built for long shifts. All-day mode lowers the frame rate or switches to a clear still sign, and the app suggests it when the phone runs hot or Low Power Mode is on. β’ Flashlight: steady, strobe, SOS, or pulsing with the music. β’ Sync several phones. Nearby phones show the same sign in step, or become a remote: pause, next sign, brightness and one-tap shout. β’ Siri shortcuts jump straight into stall or cheer mode, a Home Screen widget relights your last sign, and one tap resumes your last playlist. β’ Export and share as GIF, video or screen recording β and export any recording as MP3. β’ Stop timer at 15/30/60/120 minutes, plus a low-battery prompt that offers a black-screen mode: the screen goes dark while the shout-out keeps going. PRIVACY, PLAINLY No developer servers. No data collection. No ads and no analytics SDKs. Your recordings and signs stay on your device. It is a one-time purchase: no subscription, no ads. The in-app purchase covers the full template, effect and motion library, text-to-speech and recording loops, background music, photo signs, GIF / video / screen-recording export, hosting a multi-phone sync, saving more than 3 signs, and playback without the watermark. Free users can preview a text-to-speech shout 3 times a day.

Your iPhone is measuring itself all day. DataFastView is where you get to see it. Live Wi-Fi quality, battery, CPU, memory, storage and the weather β in the Dynamic Island, on the Home Screen, in Control Center, and on one screen inside the app. Everything is measured on the device. There is no account, no tracking, and nothing to sign up for. WI-FI QUALITY, NOT SIGNAL BARS A full-bar connection with 300 ms of jitter is a bad connection, and the bars will never tell you. DataFastView scores your link from 0 to 100 using four things it measures directly: β’ Round-trip time to your own router β’ Round-trip time to the internet β’ Jitter β how much that time varies β’ Packet loss Live upload and download rates sit next to the score, and a download-speed test runs only when you tap the button. Tap "How this score is measured" to see exactly how the four are weighted. Nothing is hidden behind a marketing number. ENERGY AND SYSTEM Battery level and charging state, Low Power Mode, and thermal state β Normal, Elevated, High or Critical. CPU on a fixed 0-100% scale, so a phone idling at 3% does not draw the same mountain as one at 100%. Memory split into active, wired, compressed and free. Free storage and time since the last restart. There is no battery temperature, health or cycle count, because iOS publishes no public API for any of them. Any app showing you those is estimating. This one tells you what it actually knows. THE DYNAMIC ISLAND Choose one metric for the left side and one for the right, from CPU, memory in MB or percent, storage in GB or percent, uptime, battery, thermal state, network rates, Wi-Fi quality, or a clock that keeps ticking on its own. Every option shows its live value while you pick, so you are choosing from real numbers rather than names. WIDGETS Actions (medium) β up to ten launch buttons of your own, in two rows of five, each with a symbol or a real app icon and a colour you choose. Load a screenshot of your wallpaper and the widget reads as transparent. Storage and network (small) β a ring of used space, free and used in GB, and the last Wi-Fi reading. Weather (large) β current conditions, temperature, feels-like and the next five days, in the app's own palette. Weather data provided by Apple Weather. There are Control Center controls too, and rotating phrases on the Lock Screen. WEATHER Current conditions, the next hours and the next days, with a two-day temperature trend on the Now tab that marks every peak and trough. Location is used only to ask for the forecast where you are, and only while you are using the app. TOOLS A password generator that runs entirely on the device, using the system's cryptographic random source. Set the length and character classes, exclude look-alike characters (O 0 I l 1) and keyboard runs (abc, 123, qwe), and read the real strength in bits of entropy. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent, and the clipboard copy expires. PRIVACY No account. No analytics. No advertising. No third-party SDKs. The app has no server, so there is nowhere for your data to go. Everything you configure lives on your iPhone and disappears when you delete the app. ONE PAYMENT Buy it once. No subscription, no trial that turns into a bill, no in-app purchases. English and Spanish. iPhone only, iOS 17.6 or later. Weather data provided by Apple Weather. https://developer.apple.com/weatherkit/data-source-attribution/

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DataFastView at none against GlowVox's 1. GlowVox's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
