Roll call, done in ten seconds, and it cannot be faked. Actually Here is attendance for university lectures and tutorials. You open a check-in window, and the phones actually in the room check themselves in over Bluetooth. No names read aloud. No sheet passed around. No accounts for students to create or forget. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a class and put the join code on the whiteboard. 2. Students install the app, enter the code, and type their name and student number once. 3. When you are ready, tap to open a check-in window. 4. Your phone broadcasts a one-time secret over Bluetooth. Phones in the room hear it and sign it with a key held in the device's secure hardware. 5. The roll fills itself, and you watch it happen live. PROOF, NOT HONESTY A check-in counts only if it carries the right secret from the right moment, signed by a known device. That secret existed only inside your check-in window, so a screenshot, a forwarded code, or a friend sitting across campus gets nowhere. Checking in a mate means physically handing over an unlocked phone β expensive, awkward, and it leaves traces the app flags for you. Valid check-ins need no confirmation from you. Only the anomalies ask for a human look. BUILT FOR TEACHING TEAMS β’ Promote tutors and co-instructors with one tap β’ Run parallel tutorials at the same time β check-ins sort themselves by session β’ Live roll while the class is in the room β’ Full-semester roster grid β’ Flags screen for the few records worth reviewing PRIVACY BY DESIGN β’ Students never create an account. Name and student number, once, on their own phone. β’ Signing keys are generated inside the device's secure hardware and never leave it. β’ Class data is end-to-end encrypted. Our servers hold ciphertext they cannot read. β’ Nothing leaves your device unless you export it. PRICING Free β everything above, for classes up to 20 students. Actually Here Unlimited (in-app purchase) β unlimited students per class, CSV export of your roster, and your tutors and co-instructors are covered by your subscription rather than needing their own. REQUIREMENTS β’ A device with Bluetooth LE β’ Bluetooth on and the app open on screen during check-in, on both the instructor's and the student's phone β’ Everyone in the same room (physical presence is the whole point) β’ An internet connection to submit check-ins From Selby Labs Pty Ltd Terms of Use: https://actuallyhere.selbylabs.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://actuallyhere.selbylabs.com/privacy
