DrumTick is a metronome built for the way drummers actually practise: set the tempo, shape the bar, hit start — and let it run the whole session for you. Ten to four hundred BPM. Fourteen click sounds. An accent on every single beat if you want one. And when the click alone stops being enough, the Automator and a shelf of drum routines take over. SET THE TEMPO IN A SECOND • 10–400 BPM by slider, by ±1 BPM, or by Tap Tempo • Tap out a few beats and DrumTick reads the tempo off your hands • Save presets — one for the gig, one for the warm-up, one for the song you are learning — and switch between them mid-session BUILD THE BAR, BEAT BY BEAT • Time signatures from 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8 and 12/8 to any custom meter up to 16 beats • Subdivisions: quarters, eighths, triplets, sixteenths, sextuplets and swing • Five accent levels on every beat — Marcato, Accent, Normal, Ghost, Mute — tap a beat to change it • Separate volume for accents and regular beats, so the downbeat stays audible next to a real kit A CLICK YOU CAN HEAR OVER A DRUM KIT • 14 sound sets: Digital, Analog, Blip, Electro, Wooden, Shaker, Tambourine, Cowbell, Claves, Drum Kit, Pro and more • Voice Count speaks the beat numbers out loud — "1 e & a" — so you never lose your place mid-bar • Every sound set is three separate voices, one each for the downbeat, the accent and the regular beat. You hear where the bar starts, not just a louder click • Flash the screen and haptic pulses for rooms too loud for headphones AN AUTOMATOR THAT TRAINS YOUR INNER CLOCK • Tempo steps — add or take away a few BPM every few bars or every few seconds, with an optional ceiling • Ramp — glide from one tempo to another over a set time, like 80 → 120 BPM in five minutes • Mute cycle — the click drops out for a set number of bars, then comes back, so you find out whether you held the tempo alone • Announces the next tempo out loud, so you never look down • Tracker — count-in, then stop automatically after a number of bars or a length of time DRUM ROUTINES THAT RUN THE SESSION • Built-in warm-ups and hand workouts from 5 to 20 minutes • Every step names the sticking (singles, doubles, paradiddle, eight on a hand), the stroke technique (wrist, finger, full, down, up, Moeller), the tempo and the duration • Several rounds at rising tempos, with a coaching note on what to watch in each one • Build your own routine step by step with Pro TWO GAMES FOR TIMING AND RECALL • Button Game — the machine plays a bar, you get a bar to get ready, then you play it back. The pulse never stops • Bird Beat — two birds peck out a pattern, then stop. Remember it and play it back • Levels that unlock as you improve, per-note accuracy scoring and personal bests • Share your score card and challenge a friend to beat it MADE FOR THE PRACTICE ROOM • Keeps clicking in the background and with the screen locked • Stage mode: a full-screen tempo and beat lights you can read from behind the kit • Stage theme in pure black for playing under lights, plus themes and accent colours • iPhone and iPad • No account, no sign-up DRUMTICK PRO The free version is a complete metronome: full tempo range, every time signature, every subdivision and accent, three sound sets, three presets, all built-in routines and both games. Pro adds: • All 14 sound sets, including Voice Count • Unlimited presets • The custom routine builder Pro is available as a monthly, quarterly or yearly subscription, and is Family Sharing enabled. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. About

TempoScope

Hold your phone up to the music and it finds the tempo and key in real time. Drop in an audio file and it pulls tempo, key, and the chord progression in one pass. ā–  Free Ā· Live detection — tempo (BPM) and key from the microphone, as it plays Ā· Delay and reverb times — milliseconds worked out from the detected BPM. Straight, dotted, triplet Ā· The whole metronome — 30-300 BPM, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8, 12/8 Ā· Bar maps — lay out a song that changes tempo or meter partway through and play it straight through. Section looping included Ā· Six sounds — electronic beep, tick-tock, wood block, cowbell, claves, rimshot Ā· Subdivisions — eighths, triplets, sixteenths, swing eighths, dotted eighth + sixteenth, sextuplets, 3:2 polyrhythm Ā· 59 drum style presets with a pattern grid Ā· Haptic beats (iPhone) Ā· Background playback — keeps clicking while you read a score or with the screen locked Ā· Record to MIDI — record your playing to the click and it writes the notes down as a piano roll (iPhone and iPad, reference only) ā–  Pro (one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription) Ā· Full-song analysis — free covers the first 60 seconds Ā· Save and revisit your analyses Ā· Setlist — put your songs in show order and on stage you only press Next. Tempo, meter, and drum pattern all switch together. Practice mode lets you save the tempo you settle on straight back to the song. Ā· Playback detection — leave it listening and it finds where songs change, splitting them into a list. Saving the song playing right now by hand is free for the first three Ā· Export MIDI — save a Record to MIDI result as a MIDI file, ready to drop into your DAW ā–  About accuracy Measured against 13 tracks with known answers: tempo was right on 13, key on 12. That is a small sample, so treat it as a guide. Chord detection is well below that and is a reference aid only — it goes wrong most often on ballads with dense harmony. Check it yourself with the free 60 seconds before you decide. Record to MIDI is a reference aid too. In one test — 14 bars of a straight 8-beat drum groove, recorded at a live venue with an iPhone on the music stand — it got the kick and snare right in 13 of 14 bars and caught 43 of 56 hi-hat hits. Recording and viewing the result are free, so try it on your own playing first. ā–  No internet needed All analysis runs on your device. No account, no server, no ads. Audio from the microphone never leaves your device. The only recording kept is the last one you make yourself in Record to MIDI, and it stays on your device too. ā–  Made for Ā· Sound engineers who need a song's tempo fast, on site Ā· Mixing engineers who need delay and reverb times that match the BPM Ā· Performers who change tempo song by song through a set Ā· Drummers practising triplets and polyrhythms
