QuackIndex vs Smash Recreation

QuackIndex helps U.S. duck hunters bring weather, wind, nearby water readings, terrain context, state regulations, and hunt journals together for a saved hunting spot. See a daily 0–100 QuackIndex score built from 3 plain, always-visible factors — Duck Movement (50%), Water Conditions (30%), and Huntable Wind (20%) — no hidden math. It is a planning aid—it does not count ducks or guarantee hunting results. FEATURES • Duck Movement — weather severity, wind push, and season timing (including a dedicated blue-winged teal early-season model), plus a real barometric-pressure signal, with Freeze Severity, Temperature Trend, and Pressure Trend broken out right below it. • Water and terrain — see nearby USGS gauge readings, USACE reservoir data, or NOAA tide information when available, plus satellite water context, hillshade, wetlands, maps, and public-land context. • State regulations — review waterfowl season information, bag limits, and official source citations for your saved spot. Always confirm the linked official rules before hunting. • Know Your Ducks — a free U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service field-ID guide. • Hunt Journal — log hunting and scouting activity, then request AI analysis of patterns in your own entries. QUACKINDEX PRO Unlock extended forecasts, deeper movement-map tools, terrain layers, Look Back to reconstruct any past date's score and movement map, and unlimited AI Hunt Journal analysis.
