பன்னிரு திருமுறை — the sacred canon of Tamil Saiva devotion, read the way it was meant to be read: unhurried, in the original Tamil or in English, with nothing behind a paywall. Panniru Thirumurai gathers the great hymns of the Nayanmar saints — poets who sang directly to Shiva across Tamil Nadu's temple towns over a thousand years ago. This app brings that corpus to your phone: searchable, readable in your own script and pace, and free. WHAT'S INSIDE • Thevaram — the foundational hymns of Sambandhar, Appar, and Sundarar • Thiruvasagam and Thirukkovaiyar — Manikkavasagar's outpouring of longing and surrender • Thiruvisaippa and Thiruppallandu — temple hymns and a benediction from nine poets • Prabandha Malai — a garland of shorter works, including Karaikkal Ammaiyar's • Periya Puranam — Sekkizhar's epic of the sixty-three Nayanmar saints Thirumandiram, the tenth Thirumurai, is on the way — this is a living project, not a finished one. READ YOUR WAY • Original Tamil, or English — reciter-friendly or scholarly (ISO-15919) transliteration • Four reading fonts tuned for long sessions: Traditional, Modern, Classic, Sans • Auto, Light, Dark, and High-Contrast appearances FOR RETURNING TO A VERSE, NOT JUST FINDING ONE • Search by keyword or verse number • Bookmarks, recently-viewed, and a resume-where-you-left-off pill • Collections, so you can group verses your own way — for study, for recitation, for a specific saint • A home-screen widget that surfaces a verse through the day • Optional daily reminders TRACK THE TEMPLES Thevaram names hundreds of real temples across Tamil Nadu — the Thevara Sthalams. Browse them by region, and mark the ones you've visited as your own pilgrimage record. EVERYWHERE YOU ARE Bookmarks, reading position, and preferences sync across your devices with iCloud. Nothing to set up. FREE, WITH NO CATCH Every verse in this app is free, and always will be. Small, unobtrusive ads support the work; if you'd rather not see them, a one-time purchase removes them for good. If the app has been of value to you, a small voluntary tip is always welcome — never required, and nothing is ever gated behind it. Built for people who want to read the Panniru Thirumurai, not fight an interface to get to it.
