About

Noctera

Noctera is a web browser that blocks ads the way a person would — by looking at the page. Apple's on-device AI examines suspicious page elements and hides the ones that turn out to be ads, sponsored inserts, or consent nags. No filter-list subscriptions to keep fresh, no cloud service reading your traffic. Everything happens on your iPhone. HOW IT WORKS Every page loads through two layers. A built-in blocklist stops known ad and tracker networks before they load. Then Apple's on-device foundation model inspects what slips through — promoted content, native ads, newsletter overlays — and hides what it catches. Watch the shield pulse while it scans; the counter shows what it blocked. IT LEARNS When the AI confirms an ad, Noctera remembers. The element becomes a durable rule for that site, and ad hosts confirmed across multiple sites get blocked network-wide. The browser gets quieter the more you use it. Spotted a mistake? Every learned rule has a toggle — flip it off and the element comes back instantly. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE • All blocking runs on-device — zero bytes of your browsing reach any server, ours or anyone's • No account, no analytics, no tracking of any kind • Private tabs leave nothing behind • HTTPS-only mode upgrades insecure connections automatically • Face ID app lock, and one switch clears all website data on exit A BROWSER, PROPERLY • Tab switcher with live page snapshots, plus private tabs • Bookmarks, favorites, and searchable history • A start page you can make yours: three layouts, bundled wallpapers or your own photo, six accent colors, six app icons • Pull to refresh, find in page, desktop site, share sheet • Search with DuckDuckGo, Google, or Startpage PER-SITE CONTROL Turn AI blocking off for any site where you want everything shown — the static blocklist keeps protecting you regardless. REQUIREMENTS • iPhone with iOS 26 or later • AI blocking uses Apple Intelligence when available on your device; static blocking works everywhere The web without ads isn't a premium feature. It's just the web.
