Hakaru

Hakaru is an app for logging your weight. That's it. No meal tracking. No calorie counting. No workout logs. You type in the number from this morning's scale, and you're done. It takes about three seconds. β Your numbers, drawn as they are The chart connects the values you actually logged, so today's number and the right end of the line always agree. Behind it sits a faint line: the 7-day average. Your weight swings by a kilo or more from water and food alone, and this second line tells you whether a bump is just noise or an actual change of direction. Drag your finger across the chart to see what you logged on any day, and its smoothed value. β Set a goal, get an estimate Enter a goal weight and Hakaru shows roughly how many days it would take at your current pace. Once you get there, it shows a range to stay within. β Missed days are fine There's no streak to break, no red warning, no guilt. You can go back and fill in a day from the calendar, or you can leave it blank. Come back after a week away and the chart just carries on. β What it does - Log weight (drag a ruler or type it in) - Log body fat percentage (hide it if you don't need it) - A chart of what you logged, with the 7-day average behind it - Goal weight with an estimated arrival - BMI - Calendar and list views of your history - Weekly and monthly summaries - A daily reminder at a time you choose - Hide the numbers when someone's looking - Share a progress card as an image - iCloud backup, so your entries follow you across devices - Export to CSV - Write to the Health app - English and Japanese - Light and dark themes β Privacy Your entries are stored on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers. There's no account and no login. Turn on iCloud backup and your entries are stored in your own iCloud. Health integration writes only; Hakaru never reads your Health data. β A note Hakaru is a tool for keeping records. It isn't a substitute for diagnosis or treatment. If something about your health concerns you, please talk to a doctor. Hakaru is free. We'd love to hear from you by email.
