Flimmer
Read full descriptionHide full description
Flimmer is a player for the IPTV service you already subscribe to, on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It comes empty. You enter your own provider's server address, username and password, and Flimmer turns a long, messy list into Channels, Films and Series that are organised, searchable and fast. BUILT FOR BIG CATALOGUES A provider's library can run to hundreds of thousands of items. Flimmer indexes yours on your device, a category at a time, in the background, so browsing and search are instant and keep working without a connection. PLAYS WHAT OTHERS WON'T Many film libraries use formats Apple's built-in player cannot open, such as MKV. Flimmer plays them anyway, and uses the native player, with Picture in Picture and AirPlay, wherever it can. TITLES THAT READ LIKE TITLES Providers pad names with prefixes, tags and separators. Flimmer quietly turns them into a title, a year and a quality badge. LIVE TV, PROPERLY Channel logos, what's on now and next from the guide, quick channel switching, and catch-up where your provider offers it. APPLE TV, SET UP FROM YOUR PHONE Scan the code on your television with your iPhone and your provider comes across. No typing passwords with a remote. GENTLE ON YOUR LINE If your subscription allows only one stream at a time, Flimmer pauses its library work while you watch, so your stream gets the connection. FLIMMER PLUS, IF YOU WANT IT Everything that plays is free, with no ads and no time limits. Flimmer Plus is an optional upgrade that adds sync of favourites and Continue Watching across your iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, the provider vault, more than one profile, backup provider lines with automatic failover, and more personal collections. Choose monthly, yearly (with a free trial for new subscribers) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Family Sharing is included, at no extra cost. PRIVACY Your video never passes through our servers. An account is optional. If you create one, we store your account and profile details, favourites and resume points, any provider credential you choose to sync, feedback you send, and limited diagnostics you choose to attach. No trackers, no advertising, no third-party data-collection SDKs. The only measurement is a handful of anonymous milestone counts with no identifier in them, which you can switch off in Settings. Delete your account and account-linked data from Settings at any time. Flimmer is a player only. It does not include, host or provide any channels, films, series, playlists or subscriptions, and it is not affiliated with any IPTV or OTT provider. To use Flimmer you need your own account with a service you already pay for; you enter its address and credentials yourself. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to watch whatever you connect to. Flimmer does not endorse or promote the streaming of copyright-protected material without permission from the copyright holder. Flimmer Plus subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, and renewals are charged within 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial, where offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless cancelled. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. Liquid IPTV
Read full descriptionHide full description
Liquid IPTV plays your own playlist on your iPhone and iPad. It arrives with no channels and no content. You add an M3U link and, if you have one, an XMLTV guide. Everything below exists to make that list pleasant to watch on a screen you hold. MADE FOR YOUR THUMB Four tabs and nothing to hunt through: channels, guide, favourites, settings. Tap a channel and it opens with the picture at the top and its schedule under it โ what is on, what is next, and the rest of the day. Turn the phone and the picture takes the whole screen; one tap brings the bar back, and from it the channel list slides in down one side and the guide down the other, both over the picture without stopping it. Swipe the player down to put it away. ON IPAD The line-up down the left, the list in the middle, and the channel playing beside it with its schedule underneath โ so changing channel never means leaving the page. Type to find a channel anywhere in the list. YOUR PLAYLIST, READ PROPERLY Most playlists carry more than a web address, and a player that ignores the rest simply fails to open half of them. Liquid IPTV reads the User-Agent and Referer a channel asks for, headers written as #EXTHTTP or hung off the end of the URL, and the Kodi-style properties that name a manifest type or a licence. THREE PLAYBACK ENGINES AVPlayer for HLS, which iOS decodes in hardware. libVLC for what AVPlayer will not open: DASH, MPEG-TS, multicast over a relay, and audio no Apple decoder handles. And LiquidPlayer, built on FFmpeg, which asks for the hardware decoder on every tune and falls back to software only when iOS refuses it โ which is what keeps a phone cool on the interlaced channels most relays carry. PICTURE IN PICTURE Leave the app and the picture follows you into a corner of the home screen. Lock the phone and the sound keeps going. ENCRYPTED CHANNELS A channel that carries its ClearKey in the playlist plays: the app decrypts it and hands the result to the engine. A channel behind a licence server does not, and cannot โ an Apple TV decrypts FairPlay and nothing else, and no IPTV playlist ships a FairPlay key. The player says so in a sentence rather than showing you a black screen, and the bar marks an encrypted stream as DRM. THE GUIDE A real timeline, not a list of now and next: six half-hour columns opening on the hour, your channels down the side, and the arrow keys walking through both. Any programme takes a reminder, and the reminder arrives over the picture with a frame from that channel behind it. ON THE HOME SCREEN Switch it on and the television's own home screen carries two rows of your channels โ on now, and your favourites โ each tile showing the last frame the app saw. Press one and the channel opens. THE DETAILS A TELEVISION NEEDS Three ways to lay out a channel list: rows, groups, or a grid. Audio delay, for when the sound runs ahead of the lips. Four aspect ratios. Resolution, frame rate, audio and DRM on the bar, with bitrate and every track in a panel behind it. A udpxy relay for multicast, an HTTP proxy, and a DNS server of your choosing. Twelve languages: English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Thai, Swedish and Russian. FREE AND PRO Every feature is in every copy. Nothing is locked away, and a licence does not switch anything on โ what it buys is time. Without one, playback is limited; Pro removes the limit, as one year or as a lifetime licence. NO CONTENT INCLUDED Liquid IPTV is a player, not a service. It carries no channels, no streams and no subscriptions, and it is not connected to any provider. What you watch is whatever your own playlist points at, and having the right to watch it is yours to arrange. Liquid IPTV Pro (one year) renews automatically at the price shown unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in Settings > Users and Accounts > your Apple Account > Subscriptions. Privacy Policy: https://liquid.close.vn/privacy
