mrqb — world events as they happen. A "marqab" is a watchtower. For centuries one stood at the edge of a town or on a caravan road, and at dawn the watchman climbed it to read the horizon — to see who was coming while they were still far off, and to warn the people before the danger arrived. This app is that watchtower, made digital. ■ Live map Colour-coded markers update in near real time across the globe: conflict, security, natural disasters, aviation, earthquakes, economy. ■ Hundreds of sources News agencies, government bodies, sensor networks and open sources. Every story carries its source and a link to the original. ■ Official statements, by country Taken from the bodies themselves rather than from reports about them — foreign and interior ministries, public prosecutors, and security services. ■ Full Arabic and English Every headline translated, an interface that works in both directions, and one tap to switch. Nine interface languages. ■ Your own boards Choose countries, categories and a time window, and get a board that follows only what matters to you — several countries on one board. ■ Alerts Told when something you follow happens, at the severity you set. ■ Home screen widgets The latest events without opening the app, in the app's own language. ■ AI that runs on our own servers Classifies events, places them on the map, removes duplicates and translates headlines. Subscription (optional) The map, the feed, boards and the library work without an account, and stories appear six hours after they are detected. A subscription gives you news the moment it lands, alerts, a ninety-day archive and data export. A story someone shares with you opens in full, subscription or not. Seven days free for anyone who has not subscribed before, then $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The trial converts automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. It renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and is managed or cancelled in Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions. ■ Independent app — disclaimer mrqb is an independent news aggregator. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government or official entity, and it does not provide or facilitate government services. Government information shown in the app is drawn from publicly available official sources, and every item links to its original source. Montegre

Montegre is a news app that assembles a story from every outlet covering it, rather than from a single newspaper. ONE STORY, EVERY SOURCE Outlets reporting the same development are merged into one story. Every story names the publications it was assembled from. There is no reporter byline — we have no reporters, and we do not pretend otherwise. WHERE THE SOURCES DISAGREE Outlets do not always say the same thing. Figures differ; one outlet reports a detail another omits. Montegre does not hide this — a separate section shows exactly where they part ways. Seeing two accounts of the same event teaches you more than reading one. THE NEWSPAPER Two editions a day, morning and evening. Not a scrolling list, but a real newspaper page with a proper layout. Download it as a PDF if you want to keep it. LIVE NEWS CHANNELS News channels from 65 countries. Watch a development in the source's own language, on the source's own screen. YOU SET THE NOTIFICATION THRESHOLD Most apps notify you about everything, so you turn notifications off. In Montegre you set the bar: only what genuinely matters, or all of it. Your call. FOLLOW A STORY Follow a story you want to see develop, and hear only when that story moves. Nothing that happened before you followed it will notify you. SAVE AND READ LATER Save a story for later. Your account works across the phone and the website — what you save on one, you find on the other. TURKISH AND ENGLISH The app is published in two languages, switchable at any time. HOW THE STORIES ARE MADE We gather what comes through publications' news feeds, merge the ones describing the same event, and produce an AI-assisted assembly. That is why the byline names the publications a story was assembled from, not a reporter. The method, and what we decline to treat as news, is set out on the Editorial Standards page inside the app. If you see something wrong or missing, you can ask for a correction. If you are a publisher, you can file a content removal request. Both routes are inside the app. Free. No advertising.
