Local LLM runs language models on your iPhone. No account is required. Chat, ask about photos, work with documents and use live voice. With Canvas, build websites, interactive pages and games from a conversation, then preview and edit them in the app. Features depend on the selected model. Download models from the catalog, or use Apple’s on-device model on supported devices when available. Core AI models require iOS 27 or later. Other supported models remain available on older systems. Inference and conversation history stay on your device. Model downloads, the catalog and model artwork use the network. Optional Web Search sends a query derived from your message to Tavily and may read result websites. Weather requests use Apple geocoding and WeatherKit for the requested city, without requesting device location. Voice input prefers on-device recognition. If it is unavailable or fails, Apple’s online speech service may process audio when network speech recognition is enabled. You can disable this in Privacy settings. Requires iOS 17 or later. Model availability depends on your device, OS, memory and storage. Downloads require internet; supported offline chat works after setup. Models can make mistakes. Do not rely on replies for medical, legal or financial decisions.

About

CommuniLLM

Features

CommuniLLM runs powerful open AI models directly on your iPhone and iPad — no account, no subscription, and no cloud. Download a model once, then chat with a private assistant that works completely offline. Your prompts and the AI's replies never leave your device unless you choose to report one. Browse a curated library of open models — from tiny, instant ones that run on any device to desktop-class 7B models for the latest iPhones and iPads — and see at a glance how much space and memory each needs. Tap Download, and CommuniLLM pulls the model from Hugging Face's public library and runs it on-device with Apple's MLX framework, accelerated by the GPU. Once a model is installed, everything happens locally: ask questions, draft and rewrite text, brainstorm, summarize, get coding help, or just have a conversation — on a plane, in a tunnel, or anywhere with no signal. There are no per-message fees, because there's no server doing the work. Tune the temperature, response length, and system prompt to shape how the assistant behaves, and keep as many separate conversations as you like — all stored privately on your device. Then take your models to the Arena. Pick any installed model, choose Easy, Medium or Hard, and play it at Chess, Checkers, Mancala, Dominoes, Backgammon, Blackjack, Poker or Last Card. The app referees every game and the model chooses its moves from the legal ones — on harder levels it picks from a shorter, stronger shortlist. The model chats as it plays, and your Scoreboard keeps track of which models you can beat and which ones keep beating you. CommuniLLM is free for everyone, supported by ads: after a free first day, watching one short ad unlocks the app for 12 hours at a time. You can request features, suggest improvements, or report a response right from inside the app — we build with the community. Responses are AI-generated by open models and may be inaccurate, so please don't rely on them for medical, legal, or financial decisions. CommuniDev builds small, focused iOS apps with our community, for you. Our apps respect your time, your privacy, and your wallet. Your content stays on your device, and ads stay minimal. You can request features and suggest improvements from inside the app; it stays free for everyone. Let's CommuniDev together!
