Planet Merger
Read full descriptionHide full description
Drop a planet. Watch it fall, collide, and merge into something bigger. Planet Merger is a physics puzzle about building the solar system one collision at a time. When two identical planets touch, they merge into the next one up ā Pluto becomes Mercury, Mercury becomes the Moon, and on it goes. The board fills faster than you expect, the physics never quite behaves, and one well-placed drop can set off a chain reaction that clears half the screen. MERGE ALL THE WAY TO THE SUN Eleven worlds to discover, from tiny Pluto to the Sun itself. Every collision is driven by real physics, so no two games ever stack up the same way. Cross the line at the top and it's over ā so think about where each one lands. LEARN SOMETHING REAL Every planet you unlock opens a card of genuine astronomy: diameter, distance from the Sun, number of moons, day length, year length, surface temperature. Plus the details that stick with you ā like the fact that it rains diamonds on Neptune. 220 PLANET PUZZLES A separate quiz mode with 220 questions about the solar system, space exploration, and the science behind it all. Ten questions a round. ONE TAP TO PLAY Tap where you want the planet to fall. That's the entire control scheme. Easy to start in a spare minute, hard to stop when you're one merge away from a world you've never seen. PLAY IN YOUR LANGUAGE Fully translated into 9 languages, quiz questions included. Free to play. An optional one-time purchase removes ads permanently.
Pullchain

Pullchain is a puzzle about where you put things down. Each turn you place a single stone. It never moves again ā but if it lands beside its equal, it pulls that stone in and doubles, and the doubled stone slides on into the next, and the next. Build a staircase, leave the right cell open, and one drop climbs all the way up. ⢠No sliding, no swiping: every placement is a decision ⢠Chains multiply ā the longer the run, the more each merge is worth ⢠When a stone could merge with two, you pick which ā or tap the stone itself to pull them all in at once ⢠The board grows as you do, from 4Ć4 to 9Ć9, and brings rocks with it ⢠WILD stones and BOMBs turn up when you least expect them ⢠Pick a trait at every milestone and make each run its own ⢠Keep a stone in the bag for later, and reach for the tools ā Breaker, Swapper, Purge ā when the board closes in ⢠Classic mode: an empty board and nothing but numbers ⢠A half-minute tutorial, then the game gets out of your way ⢠In 16 languages No forced ads, ever. A video plays only when you ask for one: a second chance with two bombs when a run ends, or a refill for an empty tool. A one-time purchase removes even those ā the second chance and the refills come without the video. No timers. No accounts. Your best score stays on your phone.

Verdict
Planet Merger and Pullchain are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters ā price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them ā neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
