The classic sea battle, carved in wood. Hide four toy ships, hunt down the other fleet with pegs, and sink all four to win. Play a friend across the table, a friend anywhere through Game Center, or the computer, and take on a new hidden fleet every day. PLAY A FRIEND, OR THE COMPUTER • Two players pass one phone. Your first game is free • Or play far away, a round at a time, through Game Center: a friend you ask, or a foe that finds you • Or work up the ranks alone: the Deckhand, the Shipmate, the Captain and the Commander • The computer only knows what a player in its seat would know • Your fewest shots against each rank are kept SALVO • Fire a shot for every ship you still have afloat, all at once • Lose a ship and you lose a shot, so every sinking counts twice • About fifteen turns each, where one shot a turn takes thirty. Both sets of rules are there A NEW FLEET EVERY DAY • One hidden fleet a day, the same for everyone in the world • Sink it in as few shots as you can, and share the result without giving the ships away • Keep a run of days going, with a home screen widget to show it • A Game Center leaderboard for each day's fleet, and a look at how your friends did MADE FOR IPHONE DUO • On iPhone Duo the phone is the case. Open it to see your shots above the fold and your own sea below • Stand it half open in tabletop mode, like the real game: your shots board stands up in front of you and your fleet lies on the table • Shut it to pass it. The cover screen becomes the lid, with the name of whoever opens it next • Nobody sees a fleet they didn't open the phone to see • On every other iPhone, and on iPad, there are Done and Pass buttons instead EASY TO PICK UP • Drag a ship to move it, tap it to turn it, or tap Shuffle • Touch a hole to aim, press the red plunger to fire • Wood, ships, pegs and brass all drawn on the phone • When it's over, the lid sums the game up in a line you can share Free to play, with no ads and no subscription. The Deckhand, the Shipmate, games with a friend far away and each day's fleet are free. One purchase, the full set, opens the Captain and the Commander, every game across the table after the first, and the fleet of any earlier day. Works with VoiceOver, large text and Reduce Motion, in English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
