Will you make the ferry? Make the Ferry is an independent app for Washington State Ferries riders. Instead of raw numbers, it estimates your odds of making a specific sailing and tells you when to leave. On Seattle-Bainbridge, Seattle-Bremerton and Edmonds-Kingston it combines your drive time, the boat's vehicle space (from WSDOT's public data), how fast the line is filling, and reported delays into odds and a leave-by time. These are estimates, not promises. Always check WSF before you travel. NEW: WATER TAXI See Water Taxi sailings between Seattle, West Seattle and Vashon: the published timetable, delays and cancellations the operator announces, boat positions when they are reporting, and whether you can reach the dock before your boat sails. Location is used once, only when you tap My location, and is not stored. NEW: BUSES AND LINK After a walk-on check, tap "Taking a bus or Link?" to see your boat, your stop and your bus or Link on one map. A bus shows Live only when it is actually reporting its position. A timetable time says Scheduled. ALSO - Leave-by reminders for a sailing you pick - A map of WSF boats - Terminal cameras, so you can see the line before you drive - Walk-on odds that say how long you have before boarding closes - Fauntleroy-Vashon-Southworth and Point Defiance-Tahlequah: schedules, boat positions and delay tags, but no odds - No account, no ads, free Made by a ferry rider, a Bainbridge Island native. Make the Ferry is not affiliated with or endorsed by Washington State Ferries, WSDOT or King County. Ferry data comes from WSDOT's public Traveler API. Transit scheduling, geographic, and real-time data provided by permission of King County.
