A pair matching card game with thirty one hand painted mushrooms in it. The only thing it asks you to remember is which card the penny bun was under. All the cards lie face down. Turn one, turn another, and a matching pair stays up. That is the whole game, and it has not needed changing since somebody printed the first set. THE PICTURES Every deck is painted by hand, one picture per card. The set in the app today is thirty one mushrooms: penny bun, fly agaric, chanterelle, birch bolete, saffron milk cap, parasol, chicken of the woods, turkey tail, lion's mane, black truffle, death cap. Find a pair and its name appears under it, so a few games in you know them by sight without ever having sat down to learn them. New decks arrive as free updates. Nothing is ever sold separately. THE TABLE Eight pairs when you want five quiet minutes, twelve, or sixteen when you want it to hurt. Sixteen is what a new install starts on. You choose how long a wrong pair stays visible before it turns back. IT KEEPS SCORE, QUIETLY A clock that starts on the first card you turn, so putting the phone down costs you nothing. A move counter. A best time saved separately for every deck and every table size, so a fast small game never flatters itself past a slow big one. No leaderboard, no streak, no daily reminder. NO ADVERTS, NO UNLOCK Nothing is hidden behind a payment. No subscription, no advert between rounds, no account, nothing to restore. What you install is the whole game. WORKS ON A TRAIN No wifi, no mobile data, no server. Nothing about your play leaves the phone. ONE HONEST WARNING This app will not tell you whether a mushroom is safe to eat, and it is not a field guide. Do not take anything you learn here into a wood and put it in a pan. Slovak and English. iPhone and iPad.
