Tidy up a fragmented disk and pack it back together. Two taps are the whole game. You still read moves ahead. ā–  How to play Everything is a tap. Tap an occupied cell to pick that block up into the buffer. Tap an empty cell to drop the next block out of the buffer. Line up the blocks of one file (A1, A2, A3...) side by side in order and that file is done. Make every file contiguous and empty the buffer to clear the level. ā–  You don't choose what comes out The buffer is first in, first out. Blocks leave in the order you picked them up. So the real decision is what to pick up, and in what order. "Move this out of the way first, so that space opens up later" - reading a few moves ahead comes out of just those two taps. ā–  1,000 levels, 100 chapters Ten levels to a chapter. Every tenth level is a chapter boss: the largest disk, the most scattered. Early boards start nearly sorted, so the rules land on their own during chapter 1. As you go, the disk grows, the buffer gets shallower, and empty cells get scarcer. Further in, each chapter takes on its own character: - chapters with almost nowhere to put anything down - shallow buffers that force you to plan ahead - long files that make contiguous space hard to hold - swarms of tiny files The same disk size can feel completely different. ā–  Expand mode Clear a disk and a bigger one takes its place, two cells larger every time. It does not get harder as you go; a single run just gets longer. Blocks from the same file as the front of the buffer are outlined, so you never hunt for where a block belongs. A scattered disk quietly falling into place - that feel, for as long as you want it. ā–  And one more: Sort mode One huge file fills the whole disk. There are no empty cells and no buffer. The only move you have is to swap two cells. The number on a block is where it belongs, so you never have to work out where it is headed. What gets counted is not moves but seek distance: how little you make the head travel. A packed run grows from the front - for when you want to keep your hands busy and your head quiet. ā–  Daily mode: one disk a day A new board arrives every day, built from the date, so everyone is solving the same one. The rules and the taps are the same as Standard. Tidy it day after day and your streak grows. It rolls over at midnight UTC. Retry today's disk as often as you like; your best move count is the one that sticks. ā–  There is no game over No timer, no move limit, no way to fail. In the modes where you pick blocks up, the disk always has an empty cell, so what you picked up can always go somewhere. You will never be stuck with nowhere to put something, and you can always rearrange your way out. Every one of the 1,000 levels has been checked to be solvable before shipping. Think as long as you like, and restart whenever you want. ā–  Fits in a gap in the day Early levels take a minute or two. One hand, portrait, no scrolling. A chapter while you wait for a train, a few levels before bed. Progress saves itself. Share your result straight from the clear screen. ā–  You might like this if - you like puzzles about reading a few moves ahead - you want a game with no luck in it - you want something you can finish a piece of quickly - you used to watch the defrag screen for no particular reason

About

Parcel Patch

Turn a few conveyor belts, press Send, and deliver every parcel to the exit that matches its shape. Parcel Patch is a calm logic puzzle for iPhone, played in portrait with one finger. CHANGE ONLY A FEW TILES Every level is a small sorting floor, at most 5 by 6 tiles, that is almost right. Belts with a rotate symbol turn a quarter turn clockwise with each tap; every other tile is fixed. The catch is the limit: each level lets you change only one to four belts, and a counter ("Changed 1/2 tiles") shows where you stand. Turn a belt back to where it started and it no longer counts. Undo and Reset level let you back out. When you press Send, all parcels set off together and move one tile at a time, so timing matters as much as direction. EVERY FAILURE HAS A REASON A run that goes wrong stops at the exact spot, marks it on the board and tells you why in one plain sentence: "There is no belt here." "Two parcels reached this spot together." "The parcels met head-on." "The parcel is going in circles." "This parcel needs the matching exit." There are no lives to lose. Adjust the layout and send again. 2,012 LEVELS, ONE IDEA AT A TIME Twelve hand-made starter levels teach the rules with circles and triangles. 2,000 more follow in chapters of 50. They bring in square parcels, three parcels at once, sorters (parcels with the sorter's mark follow the colored arrow, all others the gray one), diamond parcels and later four parcels together. Levels open in order, and any level you have cleared can be replayed. ENDLESS MODE Clear the twelve starter levels and Endless mode opens. Its levels come from the game's own generator, with no connection needed, and they never run out. Each one is checked by the game's own rules engine before you see it, so it can always be solved within its change limit. Endless mode is also where the newest pieces appear, one at a time: - Portals: a parcel that enters one door comes out of the matching door and follows that door's arrow. - Switches: the bright arrow shows where the next parcel goes, and it changes sides after each parcel. - Star and heart parcels, for six shapes in all. The first levels are gentle and the difficulty climbs from there, with a breather now and then. There are no lives or penalties, and your best level is kept in My records. DAILY CHALLENGE One level every day, changing at 00:00 UTC, the same for every player. Only the time you spend in the level counts. HINTS WHEN YOU WANT THEM The Hint button works in every mode and has three steps: a nudge in words, then one tile and the direction it should point, then the whole solution drawn on the board. Even then you turn the belts and press Send yourself. A clear made with a hint is not counted as a first-try clear, and a daily time that used a hint is never sent to the leaderboard. RECORDS AND GAME CENTER LEADERBOARDS My records keeps your own figures on the device, including levels cleared, first-try clears (everything delivered on the first Send, without hints), fastest daily and Endless best. Game Center is optional. If your iPhone is signed in to it, the game connects when it opens, with four leaderboards: Daily challenge time, Levels cleared, First-try clears and Endless best. Only those four scores are sent. DETAILS - Every parcel and exit shows its shape as well as its color, and portal pairs differ by pattern as well as color. - English and Chinese, switchable in Settings. - Music and sound effects have separate switches and volume sliders, and haptics can be turned off. - Reduce motion follows your system setting or can be set in the app. - "Export my game data" shows your progress, records and the game's local event log as text you can share or copy. PLAY IN PEACE No account, no ads, no in-app purchases and no tracking. The whole game works offline: levels are in the app or generated on your device, and your progress stays on your iPhone. Only the optional Game Center leaderboards and the About links need a connection.
