Spell Search
Read full descriptionHide full description
You find the word GLASS hidden in the grid. In most word search games, that's the whole story — you found it, move on. In Spell Search, that's where the story starts. Tap the word, and it opens: how to say it, what it means, a place to practice saying it back yourself. Spell Search is a hidden-word puzzle with an actual dictionary built into it. Every word you clear gets filed into My Dictionary with its definition, its pronunciation, and a microphone prompt so you can try saying it yourself. TWO SPEEDS Play at your own pace when you want a quiet puzzle, or switch to Time Battle when you want the clock pushing you. Same categories, same words, an entirely different feeling. PROOF YOU'RE LEARNING Badges here aren't just for finishing levels. First Find, Word Gatherer, Lexicographer, Scholar, and more — each one tracks actual vocabulary growth, not just how many puzzles you've cleared. Most word search apps forget the word the moment you find it. Spell Search is built so you don't.

Pour jellies from tube to tube and gather each color together. Fill a tube with four of the same color and it's done. That's the whole rule. ■ Some colors have to be made From level 21 a dashed tube appears. This one accepts colors that don't match. Put pink and lemon in, tap the tube, and you get orange. Put all three primaries in and you get white. Missing a color? Make it. ■ 120 levels, six worlds Every 20 levels the whole screen changes color: cream, sunset, ice, plum, ocean, electric. Past the last level there is an ending. This isn't a game that runs forever. ■ No need to hurry No timer. No lives, no hearts, no waiting. A wrong move is just an undo away, and when you're stuck there are hints and an extra tube. ■ Jelly collection Three faces for every color, opening one by one as you complete tubes of that color. Every ten levels you also receive a bottle. 48 slots in all: 36 jelly faces and 12 bottles. ■ Daily puzzle One a day. Everyone in the world solves the same one that day. ■ About this app - No sign-up, no login - Your progress stays on your device and is never sent anywhere - The game works without an internet connection - 한국어 · English · 日本語 · Español · 简体中文 · 繁體中文 · Français · Deutsch · Português · Italiano · Русский · Türkçe · Bahasa Indonesia · Tiếng Việt ■ No ads at all There's no advertising in this app. No banners, nothing that interrupts you. The first 30 levels are free. If you like it, a single "Unlock everything" purchase opens all 120. It's not a subscription.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Spell Search at none against Bloop's 1. Spell Search also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Bloop's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
