Focus Stacking Camera: Professional Focus Stacking for Macro Photography Ever taken a macro or close-up photo with your phone and found that only a small part of the subject is sharp while the rest falls out of focus? Focus Stacking Camera brings a dedicated focus-stacking workflow to mobile photography. Capture or import multiple images with different focus distances, then combine the sharpest areas into one detailed image with greater apparent depth of field. Instead of choosing a single focus plane, Focus Fusion helps you bring more of the subject into focus. It is designed for mobile photographers, content creators, product sellers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone who wants more detail from close-up photography. KEY FEATURES Advanced Focus Stacking Combine multiple frames captured at different focus points into one sharp composite image. Capture fine details that a single close-up exposure may not show clearly. Intelligent Focus Fusion Analyze each focus layer and use the sharpest areas from the available frames to create a natural-looking final image. Extended Depth of Field Bring more of the foreground, subject, and background into focus at the same time. Focus stacking is particularly useful for macro, product, nature, and landscape photography. Automatic Image Alignment Help correct minor shifts between frames, making it easier to create a clean stack when shooting handheld. For the most demanding subjects, a tripod or stable support is recommended because significant movement and perspective changes can create artifacts. High-Resolution Export Export your finished composite while preserving fine textures, edges, and small details for editing, sharing, product listings, or printing. A Dedicated Mobile Workflow Process your focus stack directly on your phone instead of moving every image to a desktop workflow. Capture, align, fuse, and review your result in one focused experience. PERFECT FOR Macro and Close-Up Photography Photograph insects, flowers, leaves, textures, jewelry, collectibles, and other small subjects with improved front-to-back sharpness. Product and E-Commerce Photography Create clearer product images for jewelry, watches, models, crafts, accessories, and online listings. Nature and Landscape Photography Combine focus layers to keep important near and distant details sharp when one exposure is not enough. Food, Models, and Technical Subjects Show more of a carefully arranged subject in focus, from tabletop scenes to miniatures and technical specimens. HOW IT WORKS 1. Capture or import a sequence of images with different focus points. 2. Align the source frames to reduce the effect of minor camera movement. 3. Fuse the sharpest areas from each frame into one composite image. 4. Review and export your finished photo at the available output quality. For the best results, keep the camera as steady as possible, maintain consistent exposure, and make sure the focus sequence covers every area you want to appear sharp. Subjects that move substantially between frames may require additional care during capture or editing. Dual Camera
Read full descriptionHide full description
A dual camera recorder that captures two angles of the same moment at once. Most cameras make you choose. Point at what is happening, or point at yourself. Shoot portrait for one feed and landscape for another. This dual camera records both at the same time, in a single take, and hands you every file when you are done. THREE MODES • Front and back together — both cameras recording at once. You get the front video, the back video, and a combined picture of the two laid out the way you framed them. Keep all three, keep the separate angles, or keep only the composite. • Portrait and landscape together — one lens, two framings from the same shot. A vertical video for stories and reels, a landscape one for everywhere else, out of a single recording. No reshoots and no cropping after the fact. • One camera — for when you just want the camera. LAYOUTS YOU CONTROL Put the second camera in a floating window and drag it anywhere on screen. It records exactly where you left it. Resize it, switch it between portrait, landscape and square, or give it a round, square or star shape. Prefer an even split? Choose a horizontal split, a vertical split, or a diagonal cut across the frame. Whatever you see in the viewfinder is what lands in the file — the layout is not decided for you afterwards. TELEPROMPTER BUILT IN Write your script in the app or import a text file, choose the colour and size, and read it straight off the screen while you record. Change the scroll speed mid-take with a slider so the words keep pace with how you actually talk. Look at the lens instead of your notes and get the perfect take now, rather than after the fifth attempt. REAL DIGITAL CAMERA CONTROL • Resolution: 720p, 1080p or 4K • Frame rate: 24, 30, 60 or 120 fps • Ratios: 9:16, 3:4 and 1:1, framed live before you shoot • Zoom: 0.5x, 1x and 2x, and you can zoom while recording • Flash and video light, auto or always on • Self-timer, grid guides and live photos • Mirror the front camera, or leave it as the lens sees it Switch mode, ratio or lens whenever you like. The viewfinder always shows the current framing. Change a ratio and the preview changes with it, so what you compose is what you capture. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE Your captures land in the app's own library, newest first, with thumbnails for videos as well as photos. Play them back, share them, select multiple files and delete what you do not need. Copies go to your photo library too, so nothing is trapped here and nothing quietly fills your storage without you knowing. MADE FOR SOCIAL VIDEO Reaction videos, podcast clips, unboxings, walkthroughs, travel diaries, day-in-the-life content, tutorials. Anything where the thing you are filming and your face both matter. Capture the reaction and the reason for it in one recording, then share the angle each social media platform wants — vertical for one, landscape for the next, both from the same take. PRIVACY Your recordings stay on your device. There is no account to create and nothing is uploaded to be processed. Open the app and shoot. PREMIUM Free use includes a set number of photos and a set amount of recording time in each period, which resets on its own. A premium subscription removes the limits and unlocks unlimited photos and unlimited recording. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel a subscription in your account settings after purchase. We don't collect any face data for save photos to the server. This app is completely offline. Anything captures in the app, stays on your device. Privacy Policy: https://fatmachines.com/privacy Terms: https://fatmachines.com/terms

Verdict
The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Dual Camera at 15.0 against Focus Stacking's 17.6. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Stacking sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Dual Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
