Ashidori is a study app about WHY a technical indicator produces the number it produces. It shows no quotes and no news. It gives no buy or sell judgements. Every price movement you see was authored by hand to explain that chapter. ā–  Tap a term in the formula, and the line lights up Press EMA12 in "MACD = EMA12 āˆ’ EMA26" and only EMA12 darkens on the chart. The other lines fade rather than disappear, so you can still compare shapes. A name in the formula and a line in the figure always carry the same spelling. ā–  The bars being used are drawn as a moving frame Drag the time axis and a frame shows exactly which bars produced the value at that point. "A 25-day moving average uses 25 bars" becomes something you can count. For indicators that shift in time, such as Ichimoku, the figure shows which way and by how many bars. ā–  Change the numbers and watch Lengths and coefficients are on sliders. Compare RSI at 9, 14 and 25. Turn Bollinger's ±2σ into ±1σ. Move CCI's 0.015. You find out which numbers are derived and which were simply agreed upon. Move one and the formula, the readouts and the calculation frame all follow. ā–  Methods that grew up in Japan, a chapter each Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, the Sakata five methods, and Heikin-Ashi. Ichimoku gets a full screen for the part people get wrong most often: how the time shift works. ā–  Where each indicator stops working Every chapter has one. Where a moving average says nothing in a flat range; where DMI can no longer name a direction. This is not a collection of the cases that worked. ā–  Contents - 23 indicator chapters (basics / Japanese methods / oscillators / volume) - 20 named candlestick shapes (one-, two- and three-bar) - Worked examples: as many where the indicator fails as where it works - Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese (switchable in-app) - Three-pane layout on iPad (contents / chart / formula and readings) ā–  Price Four chapters are free in full: Candlesticks, Moving Average, MACD and Volume. Everything else opens with a single one-time purchase. It is not a subscription: no expiry, no auto-renewal, and there is no free-trial period. ā–  What it does not do - No quotes, no order book, no news - No connection to any broker or exchange; it cannot place orders - No trading recommendations and no investment advice - No account, and no network requests of its own (other than the purchase) - No usage tracking Contact: support@glspace.co.jp

A game for practicing trade decisions and money management on real historical charts. No real money is involved. Available in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. ā–  How to play - The rest of the chart is hidden. Choose buy, sell or pass, set leverage (1x–400x), a stop-loss and a take-profit, then enter. - The actual price action replays one bar at a time. Your position stays open until the stop-loss, take-profit or trailing stop is hit, or until you close it yourself (up to 3 months). - Drag the lines on the chart to set your stop-loss and take-profit, or enter them as an amount, a % of your capital or a % price move. - "Wait and see" lets you advance the chart before entering. - Start with Ā„1,000,000. If your capital hits zero, it's game over. ā–  Learn from real data - Actual price action from 2012 to 2025: forex (USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, GBP/JPY, AUD/JPY), stock indices (Nikkei 225, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100), gold, Bitcoin and Ethereum. - Choose which instruments you want to be quizzed on. - Every level comes with a short briefing on the economic backdrop of that period, so you can factor in monetary policy and the business cycle. - Take on levels that start right before historic events such as Brexit, Japan's currency interventions, the FTX collapse and tariff shocks. ā–  Learn from the result - After each level, the app explains the pattern in that scene: trends, support and resistance, double bottoms, head and shoulders, breakouts, fakeouts and more. - Compare "what the pattern suggested" with "what actually happened". - Review what would have happened if you had held on, and what % of your capital you risked. ā–  World ranking - Overall ranking by level reached and capital. - The world's best capital for each level is also published. * This app is a simulation for learning and entertainment. It is not investment advice and does not guarantee future profits. All in-game amounts are in Japanese yen.
