Learn chess step by step, right on your phone. ChessCoach is a chess course that opens on Today's Learning. Every day it lays out a short plan (a daily puzzle, one lesson, a tactics set and a practice game) and tracks your progress by chapter and by theme. ■ 20-lesson curriculum Five chapters: Basics, Opening principles, Tactical motifs, Intermediate, Endgame basics. New lessons end with exercises on the board, checked move by move by the rules engine, with an explanation after every answer. · Control the centre, develop your pieces, castle · Count attackers and defenders, knight forks, queen double attacks · Mate with queen and rook, promotion and the rule of the square, the opposition ■ Game review that explains After a game against the on-device AI, the app picks your biggest mistakes and says why in plain words: a piece left undefended, a missed checkmate, a missed fork. It links to the lesson that teaches the idea, and each mistake becomes a puzzle you can retry. ■ 1,200 puzzles 1,000 checkmate puzzles (mate in one, back-rank mates) and 200 tactics puzzles (forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks). Every tactics puzzle was checked by the on-device engine to have one clear best move. A daily puzzle and streak. Accuracy per theme shows your weak spots and suggests a lesson to review. ■ Practice games An AI from Elo 400 to 2400, unlimited free hints, move-by-move replay and PGN export. ■ Opening library 15 openings replayed move by move, with the idea behind each. ■ No account, all on your device No server, no login. Lessons, puzzles and the AI all run on your device, even in airplane mode. Your progress never leaves your phone. ■ 5 languages English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). ■ Free and the Full Course Free: the first 5 lessons (Basics chapter), Today's Learning, 1,000 mate puzzles, the daily puzzle, the first 5 puzzles of each tactics theme, AI games with hints and review, the opening library and My Progress. Learn to speak a new language without studying. LingLock puts one useful phrase on your Lock Screen, so every time you pick up your phone, you learn something you can actually say. No lessons. No streaks to protect. No time to set aside. Just the words locals really use, a few seconds at a time. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick a language and what you're learning for: a trip, chatting with people, work, or a bit of everything. 2. Add the LingLock widget to your Lock Screen or Home Screen. 3. Glance. A new phrase appears every 3 hours, about 4 new ones a day. 4. Tap the speaker to hear it said, right from the widget. 5. It sticks. Phrases you're learning come back at spaced intervals until you've got them. Tap Got it and they'll give way to new ones. SAY IT LIKE A LOCAL Most apps teach the textbook version. LingLock teaches what people actually say in that country: casual Spain Spanish, everyday Brazilian Portuguese, Gulf Arabic, mainland Mandarin. Every phrase comes with an easy sound-it-out guide, so you can speak Japanese, Thai or Hindi from day one without learning a new alphabet. Some words change depending on who is speaking, like obrigado or obrigada. LingLock teaches you the version you would say. 13 LANGUAGES, EACH AS SPOKEN IN ONE PLACE • Spanish (Spain) • French (France) • Italian (Italy) • Portuguese (Brazil) • German (Germany) • Dutch (the Netherlands) • Japanese (Japan) • Korean (South Korea) • Mandarin Chinese (mainland China) • Thai (Thailand) • Hindi (India) • Gulf Arabic (UAE and the Gulf) • Georgian (Georgia) Switch languages anytime. About 200 everyday phrases per language across basics, small talk, food and drink, getting around, shopping, numbers, work, and health and emergencies. Your goal decides what comes first: planning a trip? Food, transport and emergencies arrive before small talk.
