React Handbook vs DockerHub
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side — with what reviewers say about each.
React Handbook
Read full descriptionHide full description
The entire React documentation in one app, fully offline. WHAT IS INSIDE The react.dev handbook — 177 articles: quick start, learning guides, the API reference and hooks. All of it ships with the app: on the underground, on a plane and with no signal, the documentation opens exactly as it does at home. LANGUAGES English, Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. English and Russian are complete. The language comes from the phone; articles the community has not translated yet are shown in English with a note. READING • Dark theme • Text size • Reading progress: the app remembers where you stopped and takes you back • Search inside the handbook • Links inside articles open the article they name, not a browser HONESTLY No ads, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. The app does not need the internet to work. The react.dev documentation is licensed under CC BY 4.0.

DockerHub manages the Docker containers on servers you already own. It speaks the real Docker Engine API over an ordinary SSH connection — the same mechanism the official docker CLI uses for `docker -H ssh://`. That means there is nothing to install on your servers, no port to open, and no daemon listening on TCP. WHAT YOU GET • Live instruments — radial gauges, segmented meters and sparklines driven by real readings from the daemon. Where a value cannot be measured it is shown as unknown, never as a zero that looks like a reading. • A health scorecard — eleven checks across availability, observability, security and hygiene: containers with no restart policy, ports published to the whole network, the Docker socket mounted into a container, running as root, floating image tags. The grade is explainable line by line. • Activity with the pattern visible — a density chart across 24 hours, repeated events collapsed into one row with their rhythm, and burst detection when several containers fail on one host inside the same minute. • Your whole fleet at once — every server connects on launch. A matrix compares servers against metrics and services against servers, so a database missing from one host is obvious. • Real terminal access — follow logs as they stream, open an interactive shell inside a container, browse its filesystem, read a full inspect. • Themes that are actually yours — every colour, radius, font scale and density is a token you can change. PRIVACY No account, no sign-in, no server of ours in the middle. Credentials are held in your device keychain and sent only to the server you are connecting to. Analytics is off unless you turn it on, and never records hostnames, credentials, container names or log contents. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: React Handbook at none against DockerHub's 2. React Handbook also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DockerHub sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. React Handbook asks for nothing beyond the download.
