Construction Acceptance

Document the acceptance of construction or trade work in the German BGB / VOB/B context. The client and contractor complete one report together on an iPhone or iPad during a jobsite walkthrough. CAPTURE THE DETAILS • Add the project, trade or work, contract number, site address, acceptance date and time, client and contractor contact information, and general notes. • Select acceptance under the German Civil Code (§ 640 BGB) or formal acceptance under VOB/B (§ 12 VOB/B). This changes only the report’s label and stated basis. • Build a punch list of defects and unfinished work. Give each item a title, jobsite location, description and photos taken with the camera or selected from the photo library. • Record the parties’ declaration: not yet declared, acceptance declared, declared with reservation, or acceptance refused. • Record separate reservations for documented defects and contractual penalties (§ 341 BGB). Add a mutually agreed date for fixing the items, if one is set. • Have both parties draw their signatures with a finger on the device. Their printed names and signing times are recorded. FOLLOW A CLEAR PROCESS Work through project details, defects and outstanding work, reservations and agreed dates, signatures, and PDF preview and export. Completed steps receive checkmarks. Before unlocking, the app stores one report with up to five defect or unfinished-work items. Deleting the saved report opens the slot again. The on-screen PDF preview has a VORSCHAU watermark and excludes the photo appendix and drawn signature images; it indicates when signatures were captured. A one-time Protokoll-Export purchase unlocks unlimited reports and items and lets you export an A4 PDF through the iOS share sheet, print it, or save it to Files. The exported PDF has no watermark. It includes numbered items, reservations and the agreed date, a photo appendix organized by item, both drawn signatures with signing times, and page numbers. Its filename is generated from the project or street and date. No subscription. PRIVATE AND AVAILABLE OFFLINE Reports and resized photos are stored on the device. No account, server or cloud sync. The app works without internet; purchasing or restoring the unlock needs an App Store connection. The interface is in German and English. IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTE This app documents information entered by the parties. It does not give legal advice, decide whether acceptance has legal effect, recommend a declaration, or calculate warranty limitation periods or other legal deadlines. The BGB and VOB/B references identify only the basis selected for the report.
