Metrano is a practical timber construction companion for planning, learning, reference, and on-site calculations. It brings together timber lessons, metric calculators, project stages, task lists, material records, and reference notes in one light, offline workspace. Use the learning section to review timber frame construction, post and beam systems, walls, floors, roofs, foundations, insulation, protection, and site safety. Lessons include concise field notes, illustrated diagrams, progress tracking, and quizzes with answer explanations. The calculator section helps estimate board volume, wall area, floor area, roof area, stud spacing, decking quantity, waste allowance, material quantities, and related timber measurements. Each calculator shows the formula, assumptions, and working notes so results are easier to review before using them in a project. The build workspace lets you create projects, organize stages, manage tasks, record materials, track received items, save calculator results, and view simple reports. Everything is stored locally on your device, with no account, no sign-in, and no required network access.
