Know what matters in today's weather. Check the next 24 hours and the 10-day forecast. See official alerts and find favorable times to go out. A CLEAR SUMMARY The automatic summary highlights changes that may affect your plans: when rain may arrive, notable heat or cold, wind and gusts, fog, high UV, or an evening cooldown. When nothing stands out, it says the day looks calm. HOURLY AND 10-DAY FORECASTS Check current conditions, the next 24 hours, and the 10-day forecast. Sunrise and sunset appear between the forecast hours when they occur. PLAN TIME OUTSIDE Choose a day with enough hourly forecast data and a duration of 30, 60, or 120 minutes. See up to three periods that fit your temperature, precipitation-probability, and wind preferences. Daylight and official weather alerts are considered, and high UV is flagged. If no period qualifies, the app explains the main reason. These are weather comparisons, not safety guarantees. OFFICIAL WEATHER ALERTS Read available official weather alerts and open details from the issuing organization. SEVEN WEATHER METRICS Explore feels-like temperature, humidity and dew point, wind and gusts, UV index, precipitation, visibility, and pressure. Each metric has an hourly chart and day selector. SAVED PLACES AND WIDGETS Search for cities and save places you check. Each one shows the current temperature and local time. Choose a place for your Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets. OPTIONAL REMINDERS Set a daily reminder to check the forecast or a reminder for the start of a suggested period. Notifications ask you to check the latest forecast; they are not real-time weather alerts. PRIVACY No accounts, ads, usage analytics, or third-party libraries. Location is requested only while you use the app. Coordinates required to provide weather information are sent to the necessary Apple services; the developer does not receive those coordinates. Saved places remain on the device. ACCESSIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS Designed for VoiceOver and large text, including accessibility text sizes. For iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Weather data is provided by Apple Weather.

CheckWeather puts the public weather models for your location side by side and shows you two things no other weather app does: how much they agree, hour by hour, and which one has actually been right where you live. WHAT YOU SEE - A forecast confidence chip: High, Medium or Low, with how far apart the models are right now. - The number on screen comes from the model that has been most accurate in your city over the last 30 days, never a blind average. - Rain, next 48 hours, model by model: each model's own rain, hour by hour, on one scale, with midnight marked. - Who says what: every model's high, low and rain for each of the next eight days, with a three-hour table underneath. - How right were they here: yesterday's forecasts held against what happened, and how far off to expect a forecast at one, three and seven days' notice. - Rain radar with a scrubber, air quality and pollen, sea state on the coast, sunrise, sunset and golden hour, and severe weather warnings from the National Weather Service in the US. - An alert when the models stop agreeing about tomorrow, plus a morning briefing and rain alerts, scheduled on your phone from the forecast it already has. THE MODELS United States: NWS National Blend, NOAA GFS, ECMWF. United Kingdom: Met Office, ECMWF, GFS. Canada: Environment Canada GEM, ECMWF, GFS. Australia and New Zealand: ECMWF, GFS, DWD ICON. Anywhere else: the three global models every national forecaster starts from. ACCURACY YOU CAN CHECK Every model's forecast is scored daily against reanalysis of what actually happened, across 300 cities in each country, on checkweather.io. The apps that keep their models private cannot be checked like this, so we do not pretend to grade them. NO ADS, NO ACCOUNT, NO TRACKING Forecasts from Open-Meteo. Radar from RainViewer. City photographs from Wikimedia Commons, credited in the app.
