About

PaperDrawer

PaperDrawer turns paper into a private, searchable archive on iPhone and iPad. One purchase. No subscription. No PaperDrawer account. Scan receipts, statements, forms, letters, and notes with Apple's native document camera. PaperDrawer recognizes the text on your device, creates useful document details, and makes every saved page easy to find again. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Document scanning, OCR, organization, and search happen on your device. PaperDrawer has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated document server. Search stays inside PaperDrawer; the app does not submit library records to system search. Copies you keep in Files or iCloud Drive may be indexed by Apple according to your settings. SEARCH THE PAGE, NOT JUST THE TITLE Find documents using words that appear anywhere in the recognized text, as well as titles, categories, summaries, and keywords. KNOW WHERE EVERY COPY LIVES PaperDrawer clearly shows when a document is searchable and when its Files copy has been created. Each export includes the scanned page images, recognized text, and useful document information. BUILT FOR APPLE DEVICES PaperDrawer uses native Apple frameworks for document capture, on-device text recognition, storage, and optional private iCloud sync. No third-party runtime SDKs are included. Optional iCloud features are controlled by your Apple Account settings and handled by Apple. OCR results can contain mistakes, so compare important information with the original document.

Some information only matters for a little while: where you parked, the hotel Wi‑Fi password, a number to call back, a coat-check ticket. TimeGlass keeps it close when you need it, then automatically removes it when you don’t. A LIFETIME FOR EVERY NOTE Choose 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month when adding a note or photo. When time runs out, it disappears automatically. No more notes piling up long after they’ve stopped being useful. RENEW WITH A SWIPE Still useful? Swipe right to restart the countdown. Touch and hold to change its lifetime, share, or delete. Items nearing expiry are marked with an β€œExpires soon” badge. PHOTOS TOO Capture a parking sign, receipt, or ticket directly in TimeGlass, or choose an image from your library. Open it full screen and pinch to zoom. SCAN AND KEEP PDFS Scan multi-page documents with the camera or import PDFs from Files. Preview and share the original file. Documents sync through your private iCloud account and disappear after the duration you choose. OPTIONAL REMINDERS Enable notifications for a heads-up before expiry: 10 minutes before a 1-hour item, 1 hour before a 1-day item, and 1 day before a 1-week or 1-month item. ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Your notes and photos sync through your private iCloud account between iPhone and iPad, and remain available offline. β€’ Home Screen widget: start a note or open the camera with one tap β€’ iPad: drag and drop text, links, and images from other apps in a two-column layout β€’ Apple Watch: dictate or type a note; it reaches your iPhone even when the phone is temporarily out of range PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays in your own iCloud and is never collected. TimeGlass is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
