Two alike become one. Keep going, and you forge a star. Stellar: Cosmic Merge is a calm, physics-driven merge puzzler. Drop cosmic bodies into the bowl and watch matching ones fuse into something bigger — stardust into meteors, meteors into comets, comets into moons, and on up the chain to a blazing Supernova. Every body you drop rolls, settles and shoves the ones already there. The bowl fills faster than you expect, so the whole game lives in one decision: where to let go. TWO WAYS TO PLAY Puzzle: 60 handcrafted levels across 5 sectors, each with its own goal and a limited number of drops Endless: no goals, no limits. One bowl, one board, and your all-time best score GOALS THAT KEEP MOVING Reach a Gas Giant. Build three Moons. Chain a 4x combo. Clear everything below a Planet. Merge forty times before the drops run out. Earn up to three stars on every level — clearing it is one thing, mastering it is another. Some levels bend the rules without warning you twice: Heavy Gravity slams bodies down and settles them hard, Low Gravity leaves them drifting and rolling long after you thought the board was still. BOOSTS FOR WHEN IT JAMS Smash: vaporize any single body and unlock the board Revive: clear the danger zone and keep the run alive COLLECT AND DISCOVER Relics: one treasure hidden in every sector, claimed by the players who master it Cosmic Codex: all eleven bodies, from Stardust to Supernova, each with the story behind it BUILT TO FEEL GOOD One thumb, one tap: no tutorial to sit through Crisp haptic feedback on every drop and every merge Hand-drawn cosmic art and a soundtrack you can leave running Reduced-effects mode keeps things smooth when the board is full Plays in English, Türkçe and Español PLAY ANYWHERE No account, no sign-up, no connection required. The whole game runs offline and your progress stays on your device. More sectors are forming beyond the horizon. Can you forge the Supernova?

Hold a whole solar system in your hands, running on real gravity. Fling planets around the Sun, keep them in orbit, and find your own way to the high score. Orbit Slinger is a tiny universe that runs on the same law of gravity as the real one. The star pulls on every world, and every world pulls on every other, moment by moment. Throw a world too softly and it falls into the star. Too hard and it sails off into the dark. Get it just right and it swings around and around, the same way the Moon stays up. REAL GRAVITY, REAL ORBITAL MECHANICS • Newton's gravity, simulated step by step. Nothing is scripted: what you throw is what happens. • Swing past a giant planet to steal its speed in a slingshot, or shed speed with a gravity brake. • Watch orbits stretch, wobble and somehow hold, or planets collide and scatter like cosmic billiards. • Curious? See your orbit in real units: AU, km/s, Earth days and orbital energy. THE SOLAR SYSTEM LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT • See Earth up close: lit by the Sun and spinning, with drifting clouds, sunlight glinting off the oceans and city lights glowing across its night side. • Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and its rings, Uranus and Neptune. All eight planets, plus our Sun, alive with sunspots and a shimmering corona. • Earth, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and the Moon are drawn from real spacecraft maps. • Tap any world and the camera flies in close. • Beyond our Sun, stranger stars wait: a red dwarf, a swollen red giant and a pulsar with sweeping beams. ENDLESS WAYS TO WIN • No single right answer. You choose where to throw, how hard, and in what order. • Score with precision: perfectly round orbits, lanes that never cross, fast finishes. • Or score with daring: hair's-breadth near misses, slingshots, wild orbits and spectacular knock-outs. • Every win earns a style badge, so you find out what kind of slinger you are. • Rare moments to discover: eclipses, planetary alignments, orbital resonances and combos, all collected in your Moments album. COMPETE WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY • Game Center leaderboards for every level, with friends and global ranks. • A new Daily Challenge every day: the same level for everyone in the world, with its own leaderboard and a streak to keep alive. • 33 achievements to earn. • Slow-motion replays of your best moments. Keep your favorites, save them as videos and show everyone how you did it. LEARN REAL SCIENCE WITHOUT TRYING • Tap a planet for fun facts: how many times it has gone around, how long its year lasts, its closest shave. • Go deeper with real stats from NASA fact sheets: mass, gravity, length of day, temperature and moons. • Sol, a cheerful little sun, explains each new idea the first time you meet it, in short voiced and captioned tips. ORBIT LAB: PAINT WITH GRAVITY (NEW IN 2.0) • A real gravity sandbox: place stars, planets and moons with real masses, or sling them into orbit just like in the game. • Every orbit leaves a trail. Turn your system into a painting with eight palettes and a Long exposure, then save it to Photos. • Record a take, rewind to try again, and save the video. • Save your systems and share them with a link that opens right in the game. • Like a snowflake, no two systems are ever the same. MADE FOR EVERYONE • One flick to learn, endless orbits to master. Easy for young players, deep enough for grown-ups. • Built for iPhone and iPad, with smooth 120 Hz animation on ProMotion displays. • No ads. No tracking. No accounts. Your progress stays on your device. More star systems and Orbit Lab are optional one-time unlocks. Watch two Orbit Lab paintings come to life for free first. Pick up a planet and sling it around the star. Gravity does the rest. Planet imagery: NASA, NASA/JPL/Space Science Institute and USGS Astrogeology. Orbit Slinger is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA or USGS.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stellar at none against Orbit Slinger's 5. Stellar also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Orbit Slinger's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit Slinger sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Stellar asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Stellar against 5.0 for Orbit Slinger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbit Slinger has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Stellar ships an update every 4 days, Orbit Slinger every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
