Ludea Mentor vs ClassFlowy

Ludea Mentor is an AI tutor for children and teenagers, built so the adult who installs it stays in charge. Your child gets a tutor that teaches them to think; you know what is going on, and you set the limits. FOR YOUR CHILD • A tutor that asks before it answers. Instead of handing over the answer, it guides the reasoning until your child gets there on their own, and explains when they are stuck. • Math written like on paper: fractions, equations and formulas drawn, not typed. • A photo of the exercise: they take a picture of the problem and ask about it. • Voice conversation: they ask out loud and hear the answer. • Buddies and avatars: animal buddies they unlock as they go, and a name of their own for the tutor. FOR YOU • Alerts that come with guidance. When something serious comes up, you know right away, and the alert suggests what to do next. It is a reason to talk, not a diagnosis. • Subjects that stay off limits. Religion, politics, sexuality, dating: each family decides, subject by subject, and can add terms that only matter at home. • Agreed hours. You set the hours and the app tells you when they slip. It warns you. It does not lock the device. • Every conversation, readable. You can read them all, including the ones your child archived, and their screen tells them so. • A parent PIN. The parent area only opens with your PIN. SAFETY AND PRIVACY • Blocks that do not depend on the AI model. Serious content is refused and signs of crisis are detected by our own checks, before and after every reply, on every plan. No setting turns them off. • No ads. No tracking. Your child talks to the tutor and to no one else. • You can delete the account and everything in it from inside the app, at any time. SUBSCRIPTION You start with a free trial with everything unlocked. After that you can choose one of three plans, billed monthly or yearly; what changes is the number of questions per month, shared by all your children. Without a subscription the account keeps working on the Free plan, and nothing is deleted. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Ask the assistant about any lesson – it knows the notes made from your recordings, board photos and your class's shared notes, and finds the right lesson for you automatically. NOTES THAT REPLACE THE RECORDING Record a lesson (even with the screen off) or photograph the board and your notebook – the app turns it into a complete, organized note: definitions, explanations, examples, worked problems and homework. It's a lossless note, not a summary – it only skips filler and repetition, and it's meant to replace the recording itself. AN ASSISTANT THAT KNOWS YOUR LESSONS Ask "what did we do in the last physics lesson" or "what was covered on Thursday in math" – the assistant checks your calendar and finds the right lesson itself, no dates needed. It walks you through homework step by step instead of just handing you the answer, builds quiz questions from your notes before a test, and remembers your timetable. CALENDAR AND TIMETABLE Enter your timetable once, for the whole year – days, times and subjects. Every lesson in the week gets its own materials and its own note, day by day. Homework and tests remind you by themselves. Search finds a lesson by keyword, no scrolling through a notebook. CLASSES AND SHARING – KNOWLEDGE, NEVER FILES Join a class or start your own – you share knowledge, not files. No one in the class can see or download your recordings and photos, and it never shows who added what. You can also share a single subject with someone who has an account, or send a one-time link to a single lesson. PRIVACY No one sees the raw transcript or the text read from your photos – not even you. Only the finished lesson note is kept. Material marked private never reaches any class or shared note. We don't sell data, show ads or track you across other apps. The app is free to download, and an account starts on the free Standard plan. The interface is available in 18 languages. A ClassFlowy account is required (sign up in the app).
