Place a reference image over your camera preview and trace it onto paper. Your drawing surface and the reference appear together on the display. AR Kalka does not project an image onto the paper. Secure your iPhone or iPad above the drawing surface. The app shows you how to mount it, including with things you already have at home. Choose a pattern or import your own image. Move, rotate and resize the overlay to fit. Adjust its opacity so you can see both the reference and the paper. Use outline mode with adjustable detail, line width and color, a grid and a flashlight where your device supports it. Touch lock prevents accidental movement. Projects and image settings are saved on your device. After you mark its four corners, the app can track a flat drawing surface. Tracking needs visible detail and good lighting. If the app loses the surface, it hides the overlay and lets you align it again. The phone still needs a stable mount. Try every drawing tool free with ten patterns and save one project with each of them. The full version lets you import your own images, use the complete library of 100 included patterns and save multiple projects. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription or advertising. The App Store shows the current price before purchase. Your images and projects stay on your device. The drawing tools do not need an internet connection or an AR Kalka account. Purchases and restores use the App Store and need an internet connection. Restoring requires the same App Store account. The app does not provide cloud backup, so keep a separate copy of important source images. The interface is available in 15 languages.

No ads, no account. Trace your own photos for free, start to finish. Tracing Camera shows your reference picture on top of the live camera view of your paper, so you can copy it with a pencil while watching the screen. It does not project light onto the paper — you look at the screen and draw on the paper underneath. No printed markers needed, ever. FREE, WITH NO LIMITS • Use your own photos (Photos, Files, paste, URL, or the share sheet) • Position lock. While locked, nothing moves — not a stray finger, not the focus, not a single pixel. Only a long press on the lock releases it • Scale in 1% steps and move in 1px steps, no pinching required • Setup guide: "You're at 22 cm. Raise the phone 10 cm more to fit all of A4." It also shows how to reach that height with things you already have, like glasses or books • Reference opacity, brightness and contrast, inverted view, and tap-to-lock focus • Save one reference (delete it to swap in another) UNLOCK WITH PRO • Tiles: split the picture into 2×2 or 3×3 and trace one section at a time — draw bigger than A4 • Unlimited saved references you can pick, reorder and delete • Grid and anchor marks: mark the same points on your paper and snap back if anything shifts • Outline-only view (smooth or detailed) YOUR FIRST DRAWING Choose a reference → place your device → trace. The screen shows only the next step. PRIVACY Camera images and references never leave your device. No tracking. Works on iPhone and iPad. ■ Pricing and auto-renewal - Pro Monthly (3-day free trial) - Pro Yearly (3-day free trial) - Pro Lifetime: one payment for all of today's paid features, for good Your local price is shown before you buy.
