NFC Kit

Features

NFC Kit reads, writes, erases and protects NFC tags. No ads, no account. READ • UID, chip type, capacity and tag status at a glance • Decodes every NDEF record type: link, text, Wi-Fi, contact card, phone, email, message, coordinates, MIME • Full memory view in HEX, ASCII or binary with colour-coded regions • Export the memory as .txt or .bin WRITE • Ten content types, each with its own form • Capacity is checked before writing, and the tag is read back and compared byte by byte • Edit, reorder and delete individual records • Erase the NDEF content or reformat the tag TAG SECURITY (NTAG213/215/216, Ultralight EV1) • Set and remove the PWD/PACK password • Choose the first protected page (AUTH0), block reads too (PROT), limit attempts (AUTHLIM) • Lock a tag permanently to read-only, behind a two-step confirmation • Passwords live in the Keychain and travel through iCloud Keychain, end-to-end encrypted HISTORY AND AUTOMATION • Every scan is saved; search, star and give tags a nickname • One-tap templates, batch writing with a counter and a per-tag error log • Copy content to another tag, back a tag up to a file, export and import history as JSON • Shortcuts actions for Siri and automations LIFETIME UNLOCK - $4.99, ONE-TIME, NO SUBSCRIPTION These three features require the purchase; everything else in the app stays free forever: • iCloud backup of the tag history • Export and import of tag data • Reading and editing raw tag memory The purchase restores on every device on the same Apple Account, and the app has a Restore Purchases button. WHAT iOS DOES NOT ALLOW - SAID UP FRONT iOS does not let apps read MIFARE Classic data (only the UID), copy a UID onto another tag, emulate a tag, or join Wi-Fi automatically from a tag. These are system limits that no app gets past. The app includes a page explaining all of them. Requires iOS 18, so an iPhone XR or newer.

About

TagEasy

NFC Easy reads and writes NFC tags with one tap — no account and no sign-up. READ Hold the tag near the top of your iPhone and instantly see what is stored on it, the UID, the chip type and how much memory is still free. Reading also shows the technical data, for those who need it. WRITE Build the content and write it to the tag: • Web link — the browser opens on its own when tapped • Plain text, readable by any device • Business card (vCard) — the phone offers to save the contact • Phone, email and SMS, ready to send • Wi-Fi — whoever taps joins the network without typing the password • Location, which opens straight in the map • Instagram, LinkedIn, Telegram, WhatsApp and YouTube • MIME or external record, for more technical uses Every piece of content can be saved to "My records" and reused on another tag later, without typing it all again. BUSINESS CARD Build your digital card once and write it to a tag. Whoever taps their phone gets your name, phone, email and website ready to save. TAG TOOLS • Clone — copies the content of one tag to another • Erase — clears the tag and keeps it reusable • Lock — permanent block against new writes • Password — protects the tag from edits (NTAG213/215/216) The permanent lock is final: a locked tag can never be written again. The app warns you first. QR AND BARCODE SCANNER Read QR codes and barcodes with the camera, create your own QR codes and browse your scan history. LANGUAGES English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and German. PRIVACY No login and no server of our own: your records, your card and your scan history stay on your device. The app shows a Google AdMob banner ad and does not ask for tracking permission. NOTE Some tools depend on the tag's chip. NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 tags are the most compatible.

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TagEasy at none against NFC Kit's 1. TagEasy also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). NFC Kit's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
