Junctions
Read full descriptionHide full description
Who goes first? And in what order do the others follow? Every level is a drive past a few junctions. At each one, vehicles are waiting to pull away, and you tap them in the order they are allowed to go. Get the order right and everyone drives off calmly while the camera moves on to the next junction. Tap someone too early and it crashes – or the police pull you over – and the level starts again. The wreck stays where it went wrong. No clock and no queue of fifty questions. One junction, one decision, and you see straight away whether you looked properly. WHAT YOU WILL MEET • Unmarked junctions: traffic from the right goes first • Priority signs and priority roads • T-junctions and Y-junctions • Traffic lights that change between two cars • Roundabouts • Exits from premises and car parks • Emergency vehicles with flashing lights HOW IT PLAYS • Tap, nothing more: no dragging, no forms to fill in • The road signs you pass on the way become cards in your collection once you finish the level • Five lives: a mistake costs one, and they come back by themselves • A calm, flat drawing style in summer, autumn and winter THE RULES The junctions follow the Dutch rules of the road (RVV), the right-hand-traffic system used across continental Europe under the Vienna Convention: priority to the right, priority signs, give way and stop, and the European traffic lights and signs. WHO IT IS FOR For anyone studying for the theory exam who wants to know the give-way questions by heart – the CBR exam in the Netherlands included. For anyone who has held a licence for years and still hesitates at a busy junction. And for children getting ready for the school traffic exam. The app is free to play. Extra lives and Unlimited lives – no ads, unlimited lives – are optional purchases.
