Afterglow Flight
Read full descriptionHide full description
Hold to rise. Release to dive. When the flight ends, its path stays in the sky. Afterglow is an endless night flight you steer with one thumb. Every run you finish is left behind as a ribbon of light, and the next run flies through it. After a week you are threading a sky made of your own old flights. Fly close to a past ribbon and it answers. Your multiplier climbs from Ć2 to Ć8, and every pass strikes a chord on a pentatonic scale, so nothing you touch sounds wrong. Those old runs were flown at your old skill level. The sky you built is the course you now have to beat. Every ribbon ends where that flight died. Its last stretch burns red, so you know when to break away. Your best flight is drawn in gold. The sky has two edges. Ash below, flare above. Touch either and the flight is over, so there is nowhere to hide. The further you fly, the stranger the sky gets. Seven reaches, each faster than the last, each with hazards you have to learn. Each night brings a new wind. Tonight's sky has a name, and its currents tell you how it flies. ⢠One thumb: hold to rise, release to dive ⢠Seven reaches to cross, each faster and stranger than the last ⢠Every finished run stays in your sky as a ribbon of light ⢠Resonance: skim a past ribbon for Ć2, Ć3, Ć5, Ć8 ⢠Echo chords on a pentatonic scale ⢠61 constellations to light, three at a time, never in your way ⢠Ten ranks to climb ⢠Eight palettes earned with the light you gather; every ribbon keeps the color it was flown in ⢠Music that builds as your flight goes on ⢠The Skyloom: your whole sky on one dial, shareable as an image ⢠Named winds, a new pattern every night ⢠Instant retry Plays offline. No ads, no account, nothing to buy. Your sky stays on your device.
