Practise for the Canadian driver knowledge test — and walk into the licensing office knowing exactly what to expect. THE TEST, THE WAY YOUR PROVINCE WRITES IT The mock exam follows the format of the province or territory you choose: in Ontario, 40 questions in two independent sections — rules of the road and traffic signs — with a pass mark in each; in British Columbia, 50 questions and 40 to pass; in Alberta and Quebec, 30 questions; and so on for all 13. Fail one section and you retake the whole test — just like the real thing. WORKS WITHOUT A CONNECTION Every question, every sign and all your progress live on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no sync, nothing to lose when the signal drops. 331 ROAD SIGNS The national set (MUTCDC) plus the provincial ones: Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba, Alberta and more. Search them, browse them by group, and meet them again in the exam. ENGLISH AND FRENCH Both official languages, switchable at any moment without losing your progress. AN EXPLANATION FOR EVERY MISTAKE Getting an answer wrong tells you nothing on its own. Every question carries a short explanation of why the right answer is right. PRACTICE THAT KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE WEAK Train by section, or let the app hand you back the questions you keep getting wrong. Statistics show what still needs work, not just a score. LEARN BY PLAYING Four quick games: match signs to their meaning, pick the speed limit for your own province, react to traffic lights, and decide who goes first at an intersection. CHANGE PROVINCE ANY TIME Moving, or helping a friend in another province? Switch in Settings: the questions, test format and speed limits follow, and your progress is kept. The questions are original and are written from the published rules of each province and territory. Independent training app published by AZSoft. It does not represent any government entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) or the ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable. The SAAQ knowledge test for the class 5 driver's licence has 28 questions across three parts, and you need 75% in EACH of the three, never on average. Failing a single part fails the test, and only the failed part is retaken. Almost no app in the category simulates that format: the 2022-03-07 version of the SAAQ policy had 64 questions, and many still follow it. WHAT IS IN THE APP ▸ 635 corrected questions, in French and in English, across the three official parts: Highway Safety Code, Signs and signals, Specialisation ▸ Every answer cites its section of the Highway Safety Code: you know where the rule comes from, and you can check it ▸ The directory of Quebec's 181 road signs, sorted by family, with their spaced-repetition cards ▸ Every question can be read aloud, question and choices, as at the SAAQ test, and every explanation too: 7,628 audio clips in French and in English that work without internet ▸ 121 questions illustrated with a driving scene you can enlarge with a tap, as at the test ▸ Mock test in the real format, timed, scored part by part the way the SAAQ does it ▸ Custom test: your topic, your question count, your difficulty level ▸ Practice by part and by topic, across seventeen topics ▸ Smart review, which comes back to the questions you keep getting wrong ▸ The 12 steps of the road to a class 5 licence, from phase 1 to the probationary licence ▸ 65 revision facts, each citing its section, across 3 sheets, one per part ▸ Interface in French, English, Arabic, Spanish and Chinese. Questions are played in French and English, the two languages the SAAQ offers the test in to everyone; in Arabic, Spanish and Mandarin it offers it only to new residents who ask for it. IF YOU ARE ARRIVING FROM ABROAD Quebec has licence exchange agreements with only twelve jurisdictions. If your country is not one of them, you sit the knowledge test and the road test, without being required to take the driving course. This app was built for that path, which is why its interface exists in the five languages of the class 5 knowledge test, while its questions are played in the two that are offered without a request. ABOUT THE RESULTS The app gives your success rate per part and how it moves over time, with the official 75% threshold marked on each part. Its readiness indicator is the app's own: it is not a test result and says nothing about how the SAAQ will assess you. OFFICIAL SOURCES ▸ SAAQ, class 5 driver's licence: https://saaq.gouv.qc.ca/permis-conduire/obtenir-permis/auto-classe-5 ▸ Highway Safety Code of Quebec, CQLR c. C-24.2: official text published by Les Publications du Québec ▸ SAAQ, "Examens de compétence" policy (VPASRR 40004 PO-PM 05): https://saaq.gouv.qc.ca No image and no text from the SAAQ or from Tome V is reproduced in this app: the signs come from a public-domain collection (Wikimedia Commons), the driving scenes are drawn for the app, and the articles quoted are those of the published law.
