StepKit is a pedometer that stays out of your way: steps counted on this iPhone, a real Apple Watch app with your heart rate, and Home and Lock Screen widgets that actually work β€” all free. Reading Apple Health to fill in the days before you installed it is free too. ALWAYS ON YOUR WRIST AND HOME SCREEN Five Home Screen and five Lock Screen layouts show today's steps, this week, a 16-week heatmap or today's distance, or start a walk with one tap β€” pick what you want to see and it's there without opening the app. The Today widget can show distance, calories or active minutes instead, and on iOS 18 you can start a walk from Control Center. On Apple Watch, two complications put today's percentage or step count right on the watch face. None of this sits behind Pro. A WALK OF ITS OWN Tap Start and StepKit tracks one walk at a time: steps, elapsed time, distance, pace, an estimated calorie count, and your cadence over the last minute. On Apple Watch, a walk is a real workout β€” it keeps running with your wrist down, reads your heart rate, and saves itself to Apple Health when you're done. Allow Location and every walk keeps its route: find your walks in History, see each one on a map, and replay it in 3D. READS HEALTH, YOUR STEPS STAY ON YOUR DEVICES Your iPhone's own motion sensor already counts steps for the last seven days. Turning on Apple Health sync β€” optional, and free β€” brings in every day before that, since Health already merges your iPhone and Apple Watch totals. StepKit shows no ads, asks for no account, and your step history and routes never leave your devices. GOALS, A STREAK, AND SOME SMALL WINS Set a daily goal anywhere from 2,000 to 30,000 steps, in steps of 500, and StepKit tracks your streak against a weekly target of five goal days out of seven. History shows a week or month as a bar chart against your goal line, plus the 16-week heatmap. Forty-four awards in six series mark real milestones along the way: a first 10,000-step day, 100 days at your goal, a week over 100,000 steps, a year-long streak. NOTIFICATIONS THAT FOLLOW YOUR DAY As the day goes on, StepKit tells you when you've passed halfway, when you're nearly there and when the goal is done, with your count at that moment. On a quiet day it nudges you at 1 p.m., and again in the evening if the goal is still open. At the start of each week it sums up the last one: your total, your best day, your goal days and how it compares, ready to share. Every notification has its own switch, and none of them come from a server. WHAT STEPKIT PRO ADDS Reading Health, walking, widgets, goals, notifications and awards are free, permanently. StepKit Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase β€” no free trial, and the price is shown in the app before you buy β€” and it adds trend charts across your years with what they say in plain words (where this year is heading, your best month, your strongest day), all-time records celebrated the day you beat them, a year view for every year on file with a β€œMy year” card to share, CSV export, and an adaptive goal that rises by a step you choose once your two-week average clears it. It also adds five neon colors for the app and its Home Screen icon. PURCHASE DETAILS - StepKit Pro (Monthly) β€” the price is shown in the app before you subscribe - StepKit Pro (Yearly) β€” the price is shown in the app before you subscribe - Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://gen2apps.com/privacy/ The motion sensor does the counting, this iPhone keeps the history, and none of it is sent anywhere else.

About

Borneo Walks

Borneo is a step and wellness tracker with a cute bear. He helps you walk more, sleep better, drink enough water and spend less time on your phone. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH BORNEO β€’ Track your steps, distance and progress toward a daily step goal β€’ Lock distracting apps until you reach your goal, or every night at bedtime β€’ Count a proper workout as today's goal β€’ See your sleep. After a short night, Borneo makes today's goal a little smaller β€’ Log glasses of water with a tap, in the app or on your Home Screen β€’ Do guided breathing sessions that are saved to Apple Health as mindful minutes β€’ Get a nudge when you have been sitting for more than two hours β€’ Get reminders before your deadline β€’ Have Borneo find a free spot in your calendar and add a walk to it β€’ Run a timer from 1 to 60 minutes for workouts, stretches or walks β€’ Earn honey for extra steps and spend it on treats, a day off or a chat with Borneo β€’ Start step challenges with friends, family or coworkers β€’ Look back at statistics, personal records and notes for each day β€’ Keep Borneo on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, Dynamic Island and Apple Watch HE HOLDS YOUR APPS HOSTAGE Pick a step goal, a time to reach it by, and the apps you'd rather not open all evening. Miss the deadline and those apps stay locked until you reach your goal. Hit the goal and they open again, and Borneo cheers up. You can also keep apps locked from morning until you've walked enough, or lock them every night so there's no TikTok at 1 a.m. You decide every part of the deal, and you can change it any time. HE HAS A MOOD, AND YOU CAN SEE IT Borneo is happy, worried, grumpy, panicking or fast asleep, depending on how your day is going and how much time is left. You'll find him in a Home Screen widget, on your Apple Watch, and in a Live Activity while a timer runs. Poke him to see how he feels about it, but every poke adds a few steps to your goal. HE NOTICES WHEN YOU HAVE SLEPT BADLY Borneo reads last night's sleep and lowers today's goal a little after a short night. If a goal ignores how you slept, you'll soon start ignoring the goal. MORE THAN STEPS Tap the water glass next to Borneo each time you finish a glass. Breathe with him for three minutes, using box, calm, steady or 4-7-8 breathing. He'll tell you when you've been sitting for too long, and he can look at your calendar and add a walk to a free slot. WALK FURTHER AND EARN HONEY Steps beyond your goal turn into honey. Feed it to Borneo, take a day off with nothing locked, or buy a day of conversation. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Borneo talks back and tells you what he thinks of your week. The chat runs entirely on your iPhone. CHALLENGES Create a step challenge, choose the dates and the daily goal, and send the link to friends, family or coworkers. Everyone picks the name they want to show up as. You get a leaderboard and a day-by-day chart comparing you with anyone you choose. Winning a challenge of a week or longer earns honey. Only your steps for those dates are shared, and only after you join. A TIMER THE BEAR HOLDS FOR YOU Set a timer from one to sixty minutes. Borneo holds his stopwatch while it runs, counts down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and plays a loud alarm when time is up. STATISTICS THAT FIT ON ONE SCREEN Weeks, months, sleep, personal records and the days you reached your goal. Add a note to any day, and share a card of anything you see. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU No account. No sign-up. No analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs of any kind. Your health data is read on your iPhone, used on your iPhone and never sent anywhere. Challenges use your own iCloud account. There's no Borneo server to send anything to, because there is no Borneo server. Available in English, German and Ukrainian. Borneo needs Apple Health and Screen Time permission to work. Chatting with Borneo requires an iPhone with Apple Intelligence.
