Sharp is a five-minute daily habit for anyone who wants to sound sharper in the room. Each day you get one word you can actually use, a short knowledge drop worth repeating, and a quick round that makes both stick. WHAT YOU DO EACH DAY • One word a day, with a plain definition and a sentence you could really say • A mission to use it once in a real conversation • A knowledge drop across Money, Power & Persuasion, Psychology, History and Science, ending in one line worth repeating • Quick Fire: five questions, spaced so today's word is still there next month YOUR PROGRESS • A Word Bank of every word you have locked in • Daily streaks • A rank that only moves up, and a Knowledge Grade Level THE TEST Sharp opens with a 15-question test and re-tests you every 14 days. It reports a Verbal IQ figure, a rank and a Knowledge Grade Level. These are training signals, meant to show whether your vocabulary and general knowledge are improving over time. Sharp is not a clinical or validated psychometric instrument, is not administered or interpreted by a professional, and is not a substitute for formal assessment of any kind. SUBSCRIPTION Sharp requires an auto-renewing subscription. The daily loop, the Word Bank, the 14-day re-test and your full score — the Verbal IQ figure, sub-scores and percentile — all require an active subscription. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Introductory Microeconomics
Read full descriptionHide full description
Learn introductory microeconomics by connecting ideas, graphs, incentives, and decisions—not by memorizing isolated definitions. Introductory Microeconomics Tutor is designed around a progressive learning path that moves from explanation to application to mastery. Work through guided lessons, practice with feedback, manipulate economic models in interactive labs, and build confidence with cumulative review and exam-style questions. The course covers the major topics found in a college-level introductory microeconomics course, including: • Scarcity, opportunity cost, and economic decision-making • Comparative advantage and trade • Supply, demand, and market equilibrium • Taxes, subsidies, price ceilings, and price floors • Elasticity and tax incidence • Consumer choice and utility • Production and diminishing returns • Costs of production • Perfect competition • Monopoly and market power • Monopolistic competition • Oligopoly and game theory • Labor and factor markets • Externalities, public goods, and market failure Learn → Practice → Master Each topic is organized around a connected learning sequence. Guided lessons introduce the model, Practice helps you apply it with feedback, and Master questions test whether you can transfer the idea to less familiar situations. Incorrect first attempts still count as incorrect for mastery evidence, but you can keep working until you reach the correct reasoning. Visual economic reasoning Economics is easier when you can see what changes and why. The app uses visual support throughout for concepts such as: • supply and demand • production possibilities frontiers • elasticity • budget constraints • marginal benefit and marginal cost • production and cost curves • competitive firms and monopoly • labor markets • externalities • strategic interaction 18 interactive Explore labs Change assumptions, make a prediction, observe the result, and explain what the economic model implies. Explore tools include supply and demand, market shifts, price controls, tax incidence, elasticity, consumer choice, production, costs, competition, monopoly, game theory, factor markets, externalities, public goods, and integrated market policy. Built for exam preparation Cumulative Review helps connect topics instead of treating them as separate chapters. Study with: • Quick Review • Weak-Area Review • Choose the Model • Graph Reasoning • Misconception Review • Integration Challenges • Mixed Course Review • 60-question Full Exam Simulation Designed for learning • 14 connected course topics • 84 guided lessons • 560 core questions • cumulative cross-topic review • exact progress and resume support • misconception-specific feedback • interactive reference material • iPhone and iPad layouts • Dynamic Type and VoiceOver support • accessibility layout, larger controls, higher contrast, and reduced-motion options Try Topic 1 free Topic 1 is fully available to learn, practice, and explore. A single optional Full Access purchase unlocks Topics 2–14, the complete question bank, remaining interactive labs, cumulative review, reference material, and full exam preparation. No subscription. Introductory Microeconomics Tutor is built to help you understand how economic models connect—so you can reason through a new problem instead of simply recognizing an old one.
