A bar is a word. A phrase is a sentence. Super Simple Drum teaches the drums the way a good teacher does: one groove, one fill, one bar at a time, until you can play the whole song. GROOVES & FILLS FOR EVERY STYLE 2,035 grooves and fills in 62 styles: rock, metal, punk, funk, disco, Motown, hip-hop, R&B, gospel, neo soul, shuffle, jazz swing, big band, bossa nova, samba, salsa, reggae, ska, drum & bass, paradiddles on the kit, polyrhythms and more. Every bar opens in a practice room with a click, a count-in and a tempo trainer, and a 3D drum kit on iPad. Two grooves and two fills of every style are free, and one more bar of your genre opens every day you come in. SIGNATURE: THE BARS SONGS ARE KNOWN BY 993 signature grooves and fills in 13 genres: the part one song is known by, which hardly any other song plays. Hear every one for free, learn them to grow your drum vocabulary, and build songs out of them. SCAN YOUR OWN DRUM CHARTS Choose a PDF, pick a photo or point the camera at a printed drum chart. Every bar is read into a song you can hear, check against your page and put right where it needs it. Bring in MusicXML and MIDI files too, with the rest of the band playing underneath. PLAY ALONG WITH THE RECORD Find the song on YouTube and the AI lines your chart up with the drums in the recording, bar by bar, so the score follows the record while you play. PRACTICE A SONG PART BY PART Every song becomes a course: first the groove it is mostly made of, then the fills and the parts that change, each with easier versions, in the order a teacher would teach them. Then play it from top to bottom. A PRACTICE ROOM BUILT FOR DRUMMERS - Tempo steps from 60% to 110% of the target, and a speed trainer - Click on beats, eighths or sixteenths, a count-in, and silent bars to test your time - Drum sheet notation or a lane grid, with the count and the sticking under the notes - The app plays the whole kit, the hands, the feet, or nothing at all - GOT IT when you play a whole pass as written, and it is saved to your collection - Connect an electronic drum kit over USB MIDI and see how close every hit lands TAP PRACTICE, NO KIT NEEDED (iPhone) Train your left and right hands on the glass. Every note has its hand, the wrong hand counts as a miss, and four clean bars take the tempo up. Calibrated to your phone and timed to the millisecond. BUILD A SONG Turn a style, or the bars you have saved, into a full song with verses, choruses and fills, and practice it all the way through. YOUR PLAN FOR TODAY Three things to play every day, sized to the minutes you have, a weekly goal of four days, and a daily reminder. PAY ONCE, KEEP IT No subscription. Unlock what you want, once: - Grooves & Fills: every groove and fill in every style - Signature: all 993 signature grooves and fills - Add a Song: keep every chart you scan or import, each with its course - Everything: all three together, for less
