Aloud vs iamDiary

Natural voices that run on your iPhone or iPad. One download, then no internet needed, no hour caps, nothing expires. Aloud Pro is $49.99 a year after a 7-day free trial, or $9.99 a month, and it reads anything: add a PDF, a Word document, an EPUB, a web page, or plain text and Aloud reads the whole thing back in a voice that sounds like a person. Share a note from the Notes app, a page from Safari, or a file from Mail and it lands in your library, ready to play. SPEED THAT IS ACTUALLY YOURS Listen from 0.5x to 5.0x in 0.1x steps. Change speed while it is playing. No chipmunk pitch, no waiting for the sentence to end. READS ALMOST ANY FILE PDF (including scanned pages), Word, PowerPoint, EPUB, OpenDocument, RTF, HTML, Markdown, plain text, and photos of text. Wrong file extension? Aloud looks at the bytes, not the name. NATURAL VOICES, NO INTERNET Pick a natural voice the first time you open Aloud: Heart, Bella, Michael, Emma, George, and more. They download once (about 120 MB) and then run right on your iPhone or iPad, on a plane, underground, anywhere. Listen as many hours as you like; nothing is metered and nothing expires. Apple's built-in voices are there too. MADE FOR iOS Share sheet, Open in Aloud, Siri and Shortcuts actions (Read Text Aloud, Read Clipboard), background playback, lock screen and AirPods controls. Tap any sentence to jump there. Aloud remembers where you stopped in every document. YOUR LIBRARY, YOUR CHOICE Without an account, nothing you read leaves your device. Sign in with Apple or Google to keep your library and the place you stopped in sync across your devices, and delete the account any time in Settings. Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports can be turned off in Settings. ALOUD PRO Aloud requires an Aloud Pro subscription: $49.99 per year (7-day free trial for new subscribers) or $9.99 per month, billed through your Apple Account and renewing automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions. Prices may vary by region. iamDiary is the note app for people who focus on productivity. Keep it simple: as easy as possible, so nothing breaks your focus. In the morning, put your key to-dos in one place. During the day, stack up every win. At the end of the day, tap to check in on the goals you set: Did work move forward as planned? Did you exercise? Is your money on plan? Then look back and see how far you've come. MAIN FEATURES • Today's Focus: your key to-dos in one place, so you know what to focus on today. Drag to reorder, tick when done. • Success Diary: stack up every win to keep your momentum going. One line is enough. • Daily Check-in: check in on key goals to keep a close eye on them every day. Set your own goals, with over 60 icons to pick from. • Progress History: see how far you've come and keep reflecting on yourself. Every day you logged, with filters for wins, check-ins and Focus. • One reminder a day at the time you choose, skipped on days you've already logged. • Light and dark mode. Thai and English, switchable in the app. Keep it simple: no scores and no streaks. Numbers in the app only show what you got done. YOUR DATA IS YOURS • No account and no sign-in. • Your entries live on your iPhone and go with its backups, such as iCloud Backup. The developer can't see them. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party SDKs. Data Not Collected. • Lock with Face ID or your passcode. • Export a backup file anytime and import it again, for a new iPhone or a reinstall. FREE TRIAL AND MEMBERSHIP • Everything is free for 14 days from your first day. No sign-up and no payment details needed to start. • After that, membership lets you keep logging, checking in and adding to Focus: monthly, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency. • Without membership, every entry stays yours: reading, History, export, import, the lock and settings keep working. Nothing is hidden or deleted. • Monthly membership renews automatically until cancelled. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm. Cancel in your Apple ID settings at least 24 hours before the next period.
