In Turkish, "digging a well with a needle" means doing something impossibly slowly. Here you actually do it: you have one sewing needle, the water in the first well is twelve metres down, and every tap digs 0.2 millimetres. All of it plays out on a Karagöz shadow-play screen: the village, the layers of earth and the tools are cut from leather, with a lamp behind them. The whole well is always on screen, so you can see how close the needle is to the water. The ground gives things back as you dig: old coins, bones, bits of pottery. Trade them for new tools: a safety pin, a nail, a spoon, and a bucket that keeps digging while the app is closed. Tools are never sold; every one of them is dug up. Above the well is a small village. Muhtar Kemal, Nazmiye Teyze, Demirci Hüseyin and Küçük Zeynep keep an eye on your progress and have something to say about it now and then. When the water comes up, the village changes too, and the tea house starts smoking again. The first well, the Old Yard, is free all the way to the water, and you can try the Garden for free up to its first root. The other four plots open with a single one-time purchase; there is no subscription. There are no ads, no energy bar and no timers either.

Everyone has wondered it at least once: what if you dug a hole straight down… all the way through the Earth? Dig Through lets you find out. Start in your own city with bare hands, and dig until you come out on the other side of the planet — at your real antipode, calculated from real geography. Will it be a beach, a desert town, or the middle of the ocean? DIG, UPGRADE, GO DEEPER • Start with your hands, then a soup spoon, a shovel and a pickaxe • Hire your dog, the neighbour's kid and a family of moles • Unlock five machines, each bigger than the last: the drilling rig, a crawler drill, a tunnel borer, a plasma lance and the nuclear subterrene "Mole" • Keep the rig cool in the burning mantle and the molten core A REAL PLANET, LAYER BY LAYER • Topsoil, clay, groundwater, oil and gas, the granite crust, the mantle, the liquid outer core and the solid inner core • Pass real landmarks like the Kola Superdeep Borehole • Tap the things you find in the walls — fossils, lost keys, a dinosaur — to read what they are • Zoom out to see the whole planet cut in half and your tunnel running through it WHERE WOULD YOU COME OUT? • Your tunnel ends at the true antipode of the city you started from • Spin the globe and see your hole go straight through the Earth • Read facts about the place you reached, then dig again from anywhere in the world A RELAXING IDLE GAME • Your digger keeps working on his own — tap only when you want to go faster • Your crew and machines keep digging while the game is closed • Calm ambient music, pixel art with real light, and a narrated intro Ads in the free version are optional: you only see one when you choose to watch it for a bonus. One purchase, Premium, gives every bonus instantly without ads and doubles digging while you're away.
