Shoot 1-second cuts on the beat of a song. When your vlog is full, tap "Make video" once. That's the whole edit. Everyone loves 1-second vlogs, and almost everyone gives up at the editing. OffTheReel finishes the edit the moment you shoot. ā Shoot on the beat Pick a song and the app listens for its tempo. Every press of the shutter records exactly that many beats, so every cut changes on the beat. Add the same song when you post and it lines up. You can shoot without a song too. Lenses from .5 to 3x, and turn the phone sideways for a landscape vlog. ā One cut a day, without opening the app Put the "One cut" button on the Lock Screen, in Control Center or on the Action button and shoot without unlocking. Your cuts go in when you unlock. Not working on a vlog? Save 1.2-second cuts anyway and turn them into one later. Today's progress sits on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. ā Front and back at once One press records the selfie camera and the back camera together. Keep the selfie as a small inset, split the frame top and bottom, or save them as two cuts. ā Templates (optional) Color Week, Trip log, Food log, 24-Day Challenge, 7 Cuts a Week, 12 Cuts Today, 4 Seasons. Day-by-day templates add DAY numbers, and a missed day becomes a rest day. ā Trip log While traveling, just press the shutter. When you're back, tap "End trip" and your cuts are grouped by place using where and when you shot them, split into DAYs. Pick 15, 30 or 60 seconds and it keeps at least one cut from every place, ending on a boarding pass with every stop. ā Color Week A new color every Monday. Find only that color, one slot a day for a week, and the video keeps that color and turns the rest black and white. While shooting it shows how much of the color is on screen, and objects of that color stay whole. ā Food log Shoot a sign to start a new place and pick its name from places nearby. While shooting, a guide walks you through sign, food, bite and mood. The video gets a name title for each place, menu captions, and an end card with today's places and star ratings. Visit several places in a day and each gets its own set. ā Stickers Cut out people, objects or food from photos as white-bordered stickers. Selfie stickers put a note and the time on one sticker. Ten doodles and freehand drawing, moving on the beat. ā Edit while you watch The video keeps playing at the top of the editor. Color, text, motion and layout change the moment you pick them, or set everything at once with a style preset (Basic, Film diary, Variety, News, Three-way split, Quiet). ā Make the video on your phone An opening title, a time stamp and a short note on each cut, the neighborhood you were in. Text cards, broadcast-style text, four color looks, effects on just people or just the background, and subtle beat effects that move with the song. Everything is made on your phone and never uploaded. ā Sized for Reels Text and the selfie inset stay clear of what Reels, Shorts and TikTok cover. Send the video straight from the share sheet. The end card also saves as a single story or feed photo, and the caption is written from your places, stops or this week's color. ā Look back Tap a finished vlog in Collection to play it right away. A month recap made from one cut per day, with an option where each day's cut drops into its calendar cell. Your activity grid and calendar as story-size images. ā Your library counts too Pick Live Photos and videos you've already taken. The app finds their steadiest moment and turns it into a cut. ā Never forget A daily reminder at your time, or hourly with Today mode. Tap the notification and you're ready to shoot. Home Screen, Lock Screen and monthly calendar widgets. Song previews come from Apple Music and are only used to find the tempo. Songs are never put into your video. Add the sound in Reels. Original cuts are also saved to an album in Photos. English, Japanese and Korean. No account. No server. No watermark. Free.
