Extra Actions adds 10 useful actions to the Shortcuts app. Build your workflow in Shortcuts, then add the tools you need for variables, media, and downloads. VARIABLES • Set, get, and delete global text variables that your shortcuts can share. • Set, get, and delete local text variables using a shortcut key to keep values separate. MEDIA • Check whether your device supports specific codec. • Re-encode video to H.264. • Combine video and audio into one movie with Remux. DOWNLOADS • Download a file from a direct URL and pass it to the next action in your shortcut. To get started, open Extra Actions to browse what’s included. Then open the Shortcuts app, create or edit a shortcut, and search for “Extra Actions” in the action picker. Requires iOS 16.4 or later. Media processing depends on your device and input files. Extra Actions does not collect user data. Text saved through its variable actions is stored locally on your device, and media files are processed on your device. Turn the tickets, reservations, confirmations, and memberships you already have into Apple Wallet passes and Calendar events. docs2wallet lets you import a screenshot, photo, PDF, or web page and extract the important details — including the title, date, location, and available codes. Review the information before anything is created, then add it to Apple Wallet and Calendar. USE IT FOR • Concert and event tickets • Restaurant reservations • Flight and travel confirmations • Boarding confirmations • Membership cards • Reservations and booking confirmations • Tickets and passes received as screenshots or PDFs FROM DOCUMENT TO WALLET Import a document or image containing your ticket, reservation, confirmation, or membership information. docs2wallet reads the relevant details and presents them for you to review. You stay in control: confirm the extracted information before creating your Wallet pass or Calendar event. WALLET + CALENDAR Create a signed Apple Wallet pass from the information you've confirmed, and separately create a Calendar event for dates and appointments you don't want to forget. Instead of keeping an important ticket buried in an email, PDF, screenshot, or web page, keep it where you can quickly access it. docs2wallet is designed for the situations where a venue, airline, restaurant, or membership provider doesn't offer its own Apple Wallet pass.
