Bracketfuse

Merge bracketed exposures into one natural-looking photo โ with detail in both the bright window and the dark corner. Pick 3, 5 or 7 photos of the same scene shot at different exposures (camera RAW, DNG, JPEG, HEIC or TIFF). Bracketfuse finds the brackets for you, lines the frames up and blends the best-exposed parts of each one into a single image. Everything happens on your device. โข AUTO-GROUPING โ select a whole shoot at once. Brackets are grouped from each photo's exposure data and capture time, and back-to-back sets are split where the exposures repeat. Tick or untick frames to fix a set. โข HAND-HELD ALIGNMENT โ frames are registered to the middle exposure before merging, so hand-held brackets stay sharp. โข EXPOSURE FUSION โ a multi-scale blend that takes contrast, colour and good exposure from every frame. Natural by default, with no halo-heavy "HDR look". โข REDUCE GHOSTING โ people, leaves or water that moved between shots come from one frame instead of appearing see-through. โข LOOK โ Natural โ Vivid strength, Highlights and Shadows sliders, and white balance matched to the middle exposure. โข CAMERA RAW โ raw files are developed with identical neutral settings, so only the exposure differs between frames. โข SEE IT FIRST โ the full merged preview with every option, plus a compare view against the middle exposure. โข EXPORT โ HEIC, JPEG or 16-bit TIFF at full resolution, keeping the reference frame's EXIF (camera, lens, date, location). Bracketfuse merges brackets you have already shot, with your camera's auto-exposure bracketing (AEB) or a bracketing camera app โ it doesn't take photos. On devices with less memory, very large files are saved at the largest size the device can handle, and the result screen tells you when that happens. Merging and the full preview are included; a one-time purchase unlocks exporting the full-resolution photo. Questions: overlapmarr@gmail.com

BracketMerge turns your bracketed exposures into one HDR photo, right on your iPhone or iPad. No laptop, no waiting until you're home: merge in the field, check the result while you can still reshoot, and carry on. YOUR CAMERA'S OWN COLOR BracketMerge starts from the color profile built into your RAW files, the same starting point desktop raw converters use, then lets you pick a look: Linear, Adobe-style, AgX-style, ACES-style or Khronos Neutral-style. STRAIGHT FROM YOUR STORAGE Pick exposures from your Photos library, or open them through the Files app from an SD card, USB drive or any cloud drive. With Pro, connect an oCIS server, Dropbox, a Synology NAS, a WebDAV server or an SMB share to browse your brackets directly, and save each merge back beside its originals. BracketMerge talks directly to your storage, never to a server of ours. A MERGE YOU CAN TRUST โข RAW/DNG, JPEG, HEIC, TIFF and PNG brackets โข Exposures read from EXIF and refined from the pixels โข Automatic alignment for handheld and drone brackets, with auto-crop โข Optional ghost reduction, plus a deghost brush: paint over anything that moved and choose which exposure fills it EDIT LIKE YOU'RE USED TO Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks, Temp and Tint, Vibrance, Saturation and color grading, tuned to behave like the sliders you know. Tap any value to type it. Crop to common aspect ratios, straighten, rotate and flip. LIGHTROOM-READY DNG Export a floating-point DNG that opens in Lightroom with your crop and edits as normal, editable sliders, and the camera's color profile intact. Or export Adaptive HDR HEIC and JPEG, 10-bit HDR10 HEIC, OpenEXR or 32-bit TIFF. MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN On iPad, exposures, preview and adjustments sit side by side. On iPhone Duo, half open, your photo takes one half and the tools the other, held like a book or propped up like a laptop. FREE AND PRO Merging, editing and the deghost brush are always unlimited. The free version includes 3 full-quality exports every 7 days. BracketMerge Pro unlocks unlimited exports: yearly (with a 1-week free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Verdict
Bracketfuse and BracketMerge are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters โ price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them โ neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
